I think the sketch for CB shows a much younger and thinner person, but there is a slight resemblance to the sketch for J Willis:

After all thats been released about this evil Willis, the known victims, the pictures, the hidden compartment in his van with handcuffs etc, I just can't dismiss him in Chelsea's case. As I posted earlier asking people's opinion, he just seems like such evil, and experienced, that a bit of a drive for an opportunity to find another unexpecting victim doesnt seem to far fetched to me.

His long history of shadiness, coupled with the new awareness of his probable crimes, makes me think there are MANY more out there! How far was she to where his awareness space (crimes we know of) are? I'm not ruling him out, either. Especially with that sketch!

Oh, and I found that FB page for the other missing girl---- I am SOOOO bad at comparing faces! Someone else will have to help with that. Looks right to me, though! I, admittedly, meet a guy and then don't recognize him again because he changed shirts, though. LOL!!!

After reading about this Willis guy, I immediately came here to Chelsea's thread. What caught my attention was that the 16 year old who escaped this man and brought him down was lured with the promise of using his cellphone. As we know Chelsea didn't have her cellphone on her that night at the party and was asking people to borrow their phones. Coincidence? Wishful thinking?

mpnola, glad you found the FB page and agree with me. It isn't likely there would be more than one with that exact name, age, and location.

If they have any DNA from her killer, then they can see if it matches Willis. I didn't see anywhere that stated his DNA had previously been taken, so there would be no 'automatic' match in the database.
I think that the sketch provides a close enough resemblance for them to consider Willis in Chelsea's case. I really hope that this gets solved soon!

Perhaps I'm oversimplifying the notion that serial killers choose "like" types, but I don't see a similarity between Chelsea Bruck and Jessica Heeringa. While both have blond hair, Chelsea is much taller and large-boned, while Jessica is very petite with a comparatively small frame. It would be a stretch for me to consider that Willis would target both young women. :moo:

I think killers like this tend to pick a smaller woman that they can over power more easily. Willis has brothers who live around the state, he possibly could have visited family on Halloween weekend or gone to the area in search of a victim in an open party like this.

I thought the sketches looked very similar ... Except age, but that could be the artist depiction of what info he had. If you take the glasses and facial hair from his picture and change CB's perp sketch to match that ... It's mighty similar IMO

Thanks for this information. (modsnip) I will look online too. I just haven't been able to find out much about the family. I'm sure they are in shock over all of this.
