Totally O/T....but while we are waiting....

You know how google picks your ads for you based off what you've been browsing? Well, I've been doing a lot of searches for vehicles and then also on car parts, pricing, etc - because I'm a girl and like to do my research so the mechanics and car dealers can't take advantage of me.

I finished my research on cars a few days ago and now all my ads in Websleuths - the big ones - are of women with huge and a warning not to click unless you're 18 years old. WTF? :lol: I'm at work. Does google think I'm a man because I researched how many hours of labor I should be charged for to replace my alternator? smh...

You can embed a Tweet from an iPad. I do it from the Twitter app. When you press the down arrow, select "Share Tweet via...", then select "copy link to tweet". Then go to your reply box on Websleuths and hit paste.

Click the 3 dots and copy link to tweet. Then paste as a URL here.

Hello Everyone,

I just learned how to embed a tweet myself so wanted to try to help anyone who may need to do that.

The down arrow is at the top right corner of a tweet and then once you click on that arrow, then click on the option that says "Copy link to tweet". Then when you see the popup with the URL link then just right-click and COPY it.

Then just come here to WS and PASTE it into a Reply Message.

Hope that helps others as it took me a little while to learn it too.
I am on a laptop so not sure if it is different on tablets or phones.

Of course I'll let everyone know! I'm not sure how long things will go, but its definitely possible jurors will be allowed to go home and return to deliberations in the morning if they do not reach a verdict today. I will tweet if/when that is decided

Oh, and wanted to add that you dont always see the image as you are building your post. You usually only see the URL link. And when you finally view your posted post, it takes a couple minutes sometimes for the image of the tweet to be seen.

I think it takes a little bit because it is having to go out to twitter to grab its information to bring back here to show it to us. That is why there is sometimes a delay and you sometimes think there is nothing in the post. So long as you paste that embedded link that is provided from the Twitter Down Arrow "thing", you should be good to go.
