For those of you following this case and the Sierah case in Ohio....This may be a very dumb and obvious question but what would be the reasoning behind this trial beginning in the next few weeks while Sierah's case from Ohio doesn't begin until next fall? Is that because he pleaded "not guilty" so now they can do that? Is there a chance it happens with this case also?

Side note: disposing of a body is only max 5 years but yet you hear about ppl doing far less violent things and get minimum of that?!? Ugh.

This is a screen shot from the video posted above. The piece of the dress is what I find to be interesting. It appears to be a large piece of her Poison Ivy dress and not just a leaf like i have read so many times before. This picture of the evidence makes it a lot more clear why someone called the police about it. Very interesting. I am assuming that he ripped it off of her with how large this piece of costume is.

The scene in the background in your screenshot is where her body was found and could be where the majority/a larger piece of the costume was also found. From what I recall, the Flat Rock spot was where a "piece "of it was located, which could have been smaller like we all thought and then the larger piece was later located near her body.
I tried going back through old articles to see what was reported and now all I keep finding is that the "costume" and other evidence was collected from a search of the Flat Rock property. None of these articles mention how they started searching but I thought it was from someone that called it in. I swear at the time we all were reading it was a small piece but now I'm reading "costume". This article I found mentions it as a "portion" of the outfit.

Weird. I know they weren't releasing too many details because at the time they were still on the search for a suspect. But I don't remember it reported like this. Hmmm.


(That video bugged me at parts because they showed things In the background that weren't related to the voiceover at that time. Seems like they literally pulled pictures from every news article and then pushed the story together to make it their own. )
