Troy man arraigned, charged with sexual conduct with runaway teen, 17 ( link )

A Troy man accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl who was found hiding in his basement is due back in court next week as police try to determine whether there are other victims.

Officers went to Hill’s home Feb. 4 following a report that someone there was being “attacked or beaten,” police said. They found the teen hiding in the basement, according to police.

Police said the girl, who had a bruise on her head and minor arm and neck injuries, told officers that Hill assaulted her when she would not consent to sex.

Investigators found images of “improper sexual conduct” involving Hill and the teen on computer equipment confiscated from the house, police said.

A man who police say raped a teenage runaway will spend the next four to 20 years behind bars.

Christopher George Hill, 48, was sentenced Tuesday in 6th Circuit Court. He had previously pleaded no contest to nine charges, including child sexually abusive activity, using a computer to commit a crime, third degree criminal sexual conduct and domestic violence.
