Man missing from Barry County

David Lukins has not been heard from since May 27. Family reported him missing on Monday, June 4.

His truck was found at his home near Delton with a flat tire. His home was locked and they have not been able to reach him on his cell phone. His wallet is also missing.

The Barry County Sheriff’s Department have searched Lukins’ home and property and have no leads on to where he went.

Not a whole lot to go on. His wallet is missing because he probably has it. His home was locked, that's a good thing. Hope he turns up Okay.

Missing 11 days now. Someone may have picked him up from his home - wallet missing and flat tire. He’s been gone too long. No updated news on this case.

Authorities seek tips in search for Barry Co. man

Friends and family say they haven’t heard from 56-year-old David Lukins since May 26. Their concern grew when the Orangeville Township man began missing scheduled appointments.

The Barry County Sheriff’s Office became involved in the case on May 31. Deputies say they’ve repeatedly tried to locate Lukins without success.

Body found believed to be missing Barry Co. man

The Barry County Sheriff’s Department says a body was found near Lukin’s residence that is believed to be Lukins. They say there is no indication at this time of foul play in Lukin’s death.

The department is still investigating and an autopsy is pending.

I'm glad the family has closure, but such a difficult thing to deal with. I lost my brother suddenly at that age, and four years later it's as if it were yesterday. RIP David.
