The FBI in Detroit is seeking the public's help in finding potential victims of a man and woman who are both charged with sex trafficking children.

Deshawn Allen and Cassidy Morse were both indicted in February for allegedly sex trafficking two children out of multiple locations across southeastern Michigan, including Southfield and Flint. The FBI, however, suspects there may be more victims agents don't know about, so they are seeking the public's help in identifying potential victims who may have fallen prey to Allen and Cassidy.

The six-page indictment does not offer many details, other than alleging Morse and Allen sold two children for sex from various locations over a nine-week period from Oct. 1, 2021, to Dec. 9, 2021.

According to the FBI, while running their sex-trafficking operation, Allen used the alias “L.A.” and Morse used the aliases “Kamore” and “K-Money.” Both are currently locked up pending the outcome of their cases.

Morse consented to detention. Allen, though, is currently jailed at the Baraga Correctional Facility in Baraga in connection with a different case. His arraignment in the federal case is scheduled for March 27 in U.S. District Court in Detroit.

The following people were arrested:

• Ryan Richard Davis, 44, on charges of child sexually abusive activity and accosting children for immoral purposes.
• Craig William Newby, 30, on charges of child sexually abusive activity and accosting children for immoral purposes.
• Austin Sheldon, 24, on charges of child sexually abusive activity and accosting children for immoral purposes.

The operation also led to the encounter of 15 potential adult victims of human trafficking investigations, which remain ongoing at this time.

“This coordinated effort underscores our unwavering commitment to safeguarding the most vulnerable members of society. Through strategic partnerships and diligent investigative work, we have disrupted criminal networks engaged in these reprehensible activities,” said Taylor Police Chief John Blair. “Utilizing cutting-edge technology, our agencies were able to document and track each step in the process of apprehending these predators. The improvement in newly acquired technology has vastly enhanced our ability to swiftly respond to emerging threats and hold offenders accountable.”
