Shameful, I just wonder how much of this abuse of power goes on. I've believed for a long time that the cancer industry is more about making money than healing. As a retired RN, I've witnessed MD's abusing their power. I also worked in Oncology for several years, and struggled with the treatments used, and the fact that the drugs they use are so very toxic and dangerous, often more deadly than the cancer they are treating. I was happy to get out of it.
Then there's Big Pharma, they are the driving force behind this miscarriage of justice and needless loss of human lives. It's a multi-billion dollar industry though, and they're not about to give it up. Yet doctors are ultimately the ones that are responsible for the care and treatment of their patients. So it ends up being on them, they're the gods, after all. Or they think they are, they're treated as such, and they have the power. So I guess my only question is why is this the only MD that was caught and convicted. There are more. JMO
