Ok you signed it over to him so its possible she did sell it to somebody or a junk yard to have it crushed
No, I was going to sign the title over to him , but I never heard from him again by phone and the emails I got probably were not from him but answered things I left on his voice mail.

One of them sold it to an individual or a junk yard or its at the bottom of one of those lakes. That is what I am thinking
I was told by the BV police that there were about 3 other calls on Eric's phone after he vanished. I was asked if I knew one of the people, but it was a Saginaw resident, so I would't know them. I was told FG said she didn't know the person either. I called information and was told the # and address could only be given to police. I had been told earlier the police went to the last known address and was told the person no longer lived there. Family always wondered by what police told us about that person if perhaps it was someone who might have traded something for the car.

Ok that is crazy.

Eric's hair was short in the back , but long on the sides when he left OH. Postings on FB tell how he cut it for FG and she commented he looked nice. That's a nice poster. I think that would be good to take to Missing in MI forum in May.

If you like it I'll put a little more of the info a missing poster needs to have on it, then make it into a pdf and put it in our missing flyers thread, so it can be printed out at any time. I'll link it as soon as I've done it.

*It's national crime victims's rights week, this week. There may be local events in your area where people who have gone through the same thing as you will welcome you with open arms, and advice. I doubt they'll worry whether Eric's disappearance has been officially declared a crime or not.

Ok that is crazy.

It is. But whoever has done this to Eric has left an evidence trail that can't be removed. It is just a matter of time now. Waiting for someone to collect that evidence they have left all over, and waiting for a prosecutor to take that evidence and run with it. In my opinion.

Thank you for your kind comment and interest in finding out what happened to Eric. I know several of you are trying to help and Eric's family truly appreciates that more than we can say. Anything no matter how small it may seem will be appreciated greatly. My husband and I were high school sweethearts. When we wanted to start a family with children we were blessed with a precious little 5 wk old baby boy with big dark brown eyes and an adorable face! Later, we were blessed with an equally precious little girl. Eric is a grown man, but to me he's my little boy and I will never give up on finding out what happened to him. I talk to his picture sometimes and say,"Son, I'm trying."

Don't you worry, Eric's Mom and family, etc, we're not giving up either!! Every little piece you post of this puzzle helps to get a clearer idea of the dynamics, timeline, and bigger picture. The Internet is an amazing tool to find more of these missing pieces, too. Once all four corner pieces are in, then the straight sided edges, then the middle :)

The more i read through all this here all the posts from a good ways back it looks like these detectives or whoever are worthless. Somebody up there should have already done a polygraph on this FG and Family. There was a mention of a house and well somewhere further back in the posts here. Yeah it should have been searched. Burn piles near a house? Could that be where some of his belongings were burned because none of that has been found yet, right? They need to get some real people up there instead of some whoever whatever detectives. Sound like a bunch of fakes who don't know the difference between night and day. Bunch of "I don't care type" is what they are. From what I have been seeing here and told thru a contact everything is laid out right in front of these people if they would just get their heads out of the clouds and do their job :|

We asked that polygraph tests be done early on and a paternity test be done. We were led to believe a polygraph would be done, but never was. It seemed we were a bother sometimes. We had a friend who had a friend with search dogs that wanted to search free. We put them in touch with the BV detective in charge and the man with the search team said he was led to believe he might be in trouble some way for searching when there was no permission. Like I've said, no one had asked the land owner's permission until family did. When MI State Police took the case they had the search done on the land and in the well and in the crawl space of the house, we were told.

Thank you. That would be nice.

So you were told. It may or not have been done is the thing. Or they may have went there walked around 5 mins and left just so they could say it was done. Its all too fishy

  • #951
We were told the state police searched the property for 5 hours.

If that is the case is it possible this house and property were used as a decoy. Maybe they had been there for whatever length of time before they went some other place and did everything suddenly. So that every one would focus on that specific place and when everything turns up blank there is no other option but to just leave it as a mystery

I tried to make it look a bit arty, in line with what I've picked up about Eric. It's ended up looking like an album cover and I'm sure he'd laugh his head off.
Thank you zwiebel for my perfect profile photo!!And thanks to my sweet daughter for her knowledge on how to put it on my profile!

Neighbors told family there was always a yard full of people and cars and the pole barn in back was guarded like it had marijuana in it. There was some issue about a dog problem according to one of the neighbors we talked to. An obvious dog pen had been removed near the pole barn. The neighbor said the burn pile was always burning. According to police, the pole barn was used as storage for the video business. The property is about 4 acres, I think. We had asked police to look over the land because of metal pieces sticking up here and there under mounds of dirt. We might have been too trusting all along, but our family believes there was a search done by the state police. Lt Gary Thomas said they took dogs down into the well. Some experts at last year's Missing in MI forum advise us to have a second search done because sometimes a scent is harder for dogs to pick up in water, but the police said their expert did not agree. There is a huge drainage ditch in front of the house, but police said the water would have moved a car on out of the ditch. We were told the nearest body of water would have exposed a car when the water level went down. FG's husband told a family member that they owned property further up north and FG posted about trying to get Eric to come further north. I guess she was just referring to Saginaw, but her husband was not. I told the BV police that my son could be under that huge burn pile. I don't understand WHY there was not a search done IMMEDIATELY. We saw other things that caused us alarm. We couldn't get them to search at the time, so with the owners permission, our family did and took pictures. We were careful not to touch anything. We were told we could go into the house by the owner, but we decided it would not be wise. However, we might as well have gone in because nothing was searched until new rentals had moved in, so the house was never searched.

The prosecutor we met with was not reelected and he was on his way out. Family had called the prosecutor and asked for a meeting. We were discouraged by the lack of action with the BV police much of the time. Family had asked by email to meet the lead investigator earlier and he said he was going on vacation. So family asked to meet with his partner and he emailed back that his partner was doing road patrol work. So family asked to meet with whoever he was turning the case over to and we NEVER heard back again. Thus, the request to the prosecutor. He kindly said he would call the detective in charge and set up a meeting with himself, the detective and our family. We went there expecting such a meeting. The detective never came even though we knew he was in town and sent his partner instead. I've stated before, that partner said he knew very little about Eric's case. He brought nothing with him...no file...NOTHING. The family came with info and pictures that proved one statement by FG's family was not true. The partner asked where we got the pictures. He obviously had never seen them. We told him they were on Eric's FB. They did give us 3 hrs of their time, then one had to go Christmas shopping for his wife and one had to go out of town. A different prosecutor took office soon after we were there. I called to see if the out going prosecutor left Eric's info and the Assistant Prosecutor told me there was nothing on his desk, but he didn't know about the Prosecutor.(That was Nov. 2012)

Pretty much what I said. A bunch of people that don't know what they are doing and don't care. Or there is some reason they have been stalling. Could they know more about this FG and husband and are covering for them. Anything is possible at this point

Great point, VeeStevens! Just how many houses and properties are the FG and husband associated with there? Besides the adult care facilities, was there the house FG lived in and then another one Eric was supposedly working on, painting, etc? Which house & property was searched by the MSP?

Another thought about this car. What if it were part of a trade deal. Possibly mixed in with supposed drug dealing by the FG/Husband or even the FG traded it to someone to do something with Eric (to do away with him or even the car was payment for help in it all?)

And I am started to wonder if what Erics Mom said above could be true. Maybe he has been buried under the burn pile. The burn pile on top to cover it all up. Authorities see it say "oh it is just a burn pile" and never bother with digging there.

Eric told me that FG's husband moved out of the house he shared with his wife and moved into an apt with a child from his first marriage. When asked by family member if that was true, he said I (with emphasis) didn't move out. Eric had said to me that FG's husband tried to get the house next door so he could be near his children. That is possible, because the house next door was empty then according to the current residents to family but I believe they said they bought it. This is the same house our family saw the obviously new satellite dish (remember Eric said they were getting one on the house he was painting and fixing up) and that house is a rural house like he said he was moving to. When I called the company whose name was on the satellite equipment, I was told FG had it installed. FG posted that if Eric wasn't going to help with water issues, she was going back home. We asked the owner of the property if there had been water issues at that house and she said yes. It was certainly enough to have the place searched.
