Eric's family talked to the MI state police today and updated them on some things that have been happening with Eric's missing person's case. The police were not aware that Eric's story has spread outside of the Saginaw area by family being interviewed. We were told we should get anyone to help us that we can when the family mentioned websleuths help. The detective once again said they thought Eric was deceased and that his car had been crushed without a title. The detective said he thought Eric's family would have heard from him by now if he were alive. As Eric's mom, I have thought that all along. I think it is a shame that the cases of many grown men that go missing are not taken as seriously as the cases of women and children. Grown men are looked at as persons who can disappear if they want to. We need to admit that many times men are victims of crimes that women commit. In Eric's case, a woman has told so many different stories about his disappearance that it makes it impossible to know the truth, thus hampering the investigation. We should have been told what he was wearing when he left in April from in front of her house in the Buena Vista area and headed to CA. Then what was he wearing when he left in March from the motel in the Bridgeport area heading out west? We would like to know where he was living when he was alive, well and with her in June. We want to know where he was when he contacted her on Facebook in May. We need to know his frame of mind when she argued with him and sat in front of her house for 2 days in April trying to get her to make up with him and she refused so he left the area maybe going to Occupy Wallstreet. We need to know did he explain why he would pay a week's rent and then leave the area where he went to meet his daughter without even a goodbye to her. The last person to talk to and see Eric said she helped him get his things out of the motel ( she said she got his things out from under the bathroom sink, put them in a bag and put them in his car) so the argument story in front of her house in April couldn't be the true story. But she argued with him in April and he left then according to her first story, but according to her next story he had already left in March. I guess he came back and left again. But remember that he had an affair with the housekeeper at the motel and her double amputee husband might have killed him during the time he was at the motel. Then there is the more recent story that she thinks he is still alive , but may have gotten in with the wrong group and something happened to him. Are you confused just a little ? Truth on these situations could help the family make some determinations about what happened to Eric. I don't think they should have been allowed to leave the state until some answers were given that weren't conflicting and made some sort of sense.
