I am hoping there will be progress on Eric's case soon. If there has been foul play, I'd hate to think that anyone involved can believe they can just walk away and get on with their lives, and everyone will forget.
They won't. And the number of cold case being resolved seems to be increasing every year. Along with the number of no-body murder trials.
Thoughts from Eric's mom: Today my sisters and I spent most of the day with Eric's wife and stepson. We compared notes on what we know about Eric's case and discussed what we will talk about. during our tv interview tomorrow evening. We invited Eric's wife to join us for the interview, but she will be working during that time.We look forward to presenting what we know as facts and answering any questions we are asked. Hopefully our interview in Memphis, TN will prove to be one more step toward finding out why my son, Eric, just vanished in Saginaw, MI in 2011. Someone knows what happened to him and since someone needs to be doing some more legwork, Eric's family is more than willing to do whatever we can. We have met so many families of missing persons in MI and in NC and are saddened at the general lack of investigative work in so many cases. Families are left many times to work on their own to find answers, often with the help of internet "family". We have been told that the investgators in one township that Eric was said to have disappeared from "dropped the ball" and handed the case over to another township that Eric was said to have disappeared from. The current investigators say the former investigation wasn't handled correctly. So, you can see what a dilema we find ourselves in. We have too many stories coming from the last person to see Eric in Saginaw and investigators not doing enough to get the the one true answer as to what really happened. Truth can set people free and sometimes truth can convict people. We just want TRUTH !
Oh boy, this is a creepy list, imo..

"A search warrant released this week reveal that Jacksonville Police seized several items on June 27 from a home on South Shore Drive, as well as from a utility shed and tent in the backyard. The seized items include:
- Machete;
- Three Tyvek suits (coveralls commonly worn by mechanics, painters, laboratory, cleanroom, and HAZMAT workers);
- Sauna suit;
- Large section of carpet and mat from living room;
- Large throw rug from living room;
- Gateway computer tower;
- Gray portable lock box with key;
- Shoe box containing letters of correspondence;
- Black iPhone with cracked screen;
- Black Samsung cellphone;
- Black LG Sprint cellphone;
- Greyhound bus receipt.
Police did name a person of interest on the warrant. But because that person has not been officially charged, NewsChannel 12 is not releasing the person's identity.
Investigators have also searched all vehicles owned or used by that person".

The affidavit states that on Nov. 12, 2013, Prawl's girlfriend had a local carpet-cleaning company come into the home on South Shore Drive where she and Prawl were living...
The affidavit states the girlfriend only made two calls to Prawls phone after his disappearance and she never went out of her way to contact police. There are no records of Prawls girlfriend calling the Detroit Police Department, according to the documents. Furthermore, the affidavit states that Prawls girlfriend was asked to take a polygraph test by detectives, but she declined.
The affidavit says Prawl's girlfriend has a brother who, on Nov. 14, declined to do an in-person interview with Jacksonville Police Department's detectives. The brother said he was not in Jacksonville the week Prawl went missing, but that contradicted other statements given to detectives, the affidavit states. The brother has a Detroit address; his residence is located 7.6 miles from where Prawls body was found...
Spent some time in Saginaw this afternoon. Had a good convo with a few people that remember eric from the local truck stop down the road. I was told a few things and I have made serious note of them. I will be here for the next week, I'm trying to get answers for the family. Be blessed
Thanks. I wondered if the text wasn't from Eric's daughter because she had been so polite in our earlier phone conversation. She had led me to believe she might meet with me and said she would call me back. Her mom went into the apt where her daughter lived after we talked to her outside the apt building. It would have been nice to have met her and I hope someday I can. She is a part of Eric. I also would like to have gotten some straight answers from Eric's former girlfriend, but then what did I expect. She threatened to call the police, so we just left. Maybe someday all involved will have to testify under oath. I just want truth and to find out what happened to my child. ( I never thought Eric looked like Prince. That picture was taken in MI after he got his hair cut to suit his former girlfriend and she commented that he looked nice.)I'm sorry... Eric's mom.. .this is none of my business at all ----but I had to go back and reread your last post.... Eric's daughter (!) (your GRAND DAUGHTER) texted you back that she did not want any further contact w/ you????
Wonder who got a hold of her phone or her mind????????
Sending you hugs!!!!!
(On another note... I swear.. .when I see some pics of Eric I think of Prince (the singer)-- especially the pic in your avatar. Did he look like him, or just in a few pics?
Hang in there!!! WE are here for you!
When we met face to face with Eric's former girlfriend, I told her I had heard that she and her daughter had cancer and asked how they were doing. She said they were doing alright and were fine. She told me I wasn't needed. I told her I would like to meet my granddaughter. She said, "You aren't her grandmother because Eric is adopted." That was cruel. Eric has been our son since he was 5 wks old. I understand that Eric's former girlfriend is also adopted, so I guess that means none of her relatives are related to her daughter either. I don't know about her family, but in our family an adopted child is equal to a biological child.
