It can also interact with other drugs....and cause a psychotic break. I'm also curious where he got the gun from....however, even if they are not permitted to carry, doesn't mean they aren't. Unless of course there are metal detectors at every doorway, you never know who's carrying.
Maybe he had it with his stuff to go home.

Which is why more "regulations" on gun control never does anything.

I think this could be something similar. Not even that he is necessarily mad at his parents per se, my ex wasn't mad at me, but the psychosis causes extreme violent reactions. Kid may not have been completely sober upon release.

They sure released him fast. Seems like they could have waited until he was sober if indeed he wasn’t.

Thats a good point. He may have even took a new dose of meth or "his drug of choice" as soon as he got released from hospital in the morning.

It sounded like there was a time period from where he got out of hospital to where his parents picked him up. If enough time lapsed then he had time to dose up and get himself into rage mode.

At some point, the campus lockdown is going to have to conclude. Students, staff, and faculty probably have plans for spring break vacations, airline/cruise tickets, hotel reservations, etc. Even on a typical Friday, everyone looks forward to the weekend whether they're staying on campus or heading home/elsewhere. I hope, for everyone's sake and safety, that the suspect is captured or turns himself in within the next hour or so.

He cant be far leaving on foot. No report I have seen of a vehicle to look out for. Hopefully there is not somebody helping or hiding him. Also there is a possibility he has ended his own life.

The thought has crossed my mind a few times since the beginning. Or this will end in LE/suspect shootout.

Shooting reaction: Fear, shock on CMU campus

Nasienka Francis, of Grand Blanc, planned to pick up her son from Central Michigan University Friday afternoon after he completed an exam, but when he texted her about a shooting at the university, she "dropped everything."

She quickly left in her car to the college. Even though he told her he was safe in his dorm room, her initial reaction was “panic and fear,” Francis said.

“You know what just happened in Florida,” she said, referencing a deadly school shooting that left 17 dead. “I can honestly say I’ve been praying for those families and those children, and then all of a sudden it gets real because it’s right here at home.”

The shootings shook up the community and rattled parents who had planned on a calm pick-up of their students before the spring break holiday...

What exactly are they using to search for him? My guess is he may not be that far away and just hiding.

Male student at Central Michigan University shot and killed both of his parents who had come to pick him up at his dorm early this morning (spring break starts today). Suspect remains at large.
