I keep searching the major 3 news stations here for updates, how heartbreaking it is to think that Jane came home from work last Tuesday night to this horror waiting for her. I have been married almost as many years as her and her husband were, with kids about the same age, you just can't help but imagine what must've been going on in that house. This case has bothered me more than any I can remember in recent history

I think at this point I'm going with the Husband being the 2nd person. He has been on LE radar early in. Perhaps they are waiting for some prelim tests if he was the one who actually strangled her. If this was a murder for hire and Bob wasn't present his alibi would have been concrete. He would have been seen and made sure he was seen the whole eve.

Joseph Gentz (sp?) is the accomplice admitting to police that he killed her but did so unwittingly because he was scared for his life. Channel 7 news @ 5:00 reporting. Respective Criminal Attorney David Grimm (Grants former attorney) is at Bashara's home this very minute.

Sources close to the investigation have identified the man as Joesph Gentz.
We are being told that Gentz walked into the Grosse Pointe Police Department around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Jane Bashara was found murdered in her Mercedes-Benz SUV last week on Detroit's east side. It was determined that she had been strangled.
Sources say Gentz has admitted to playing a significant role in the murder and has told police that Bashara was killed in her garage.

Gentz had very specific info for LE that only someone at the crime scene during the crime would know. Indicating that Police are still very focused on Big Bobb as 2nd person involved in the murder.

If Gentz was so afraid why didn't he go to LE before the murder. Saved Jane's life and help put Bob away. Coward :furious: Perhaps the money was more of a motivator than fear.

Joe Gentz, 48 y/o from St. Clair Shores. Preemptive strike as Gentz was feeling the heat so he went in to LE to confess. Channel 7 news reporting. Girlfriend is 57 y/o woman. Made offer on big house on Kensington, 239,000.00 just around corner from Bashara's home.

Bashara's alibi was debunked today based on his cell phone records.

The woman is not considered a suspect whatsoever, just an unsuspecting side story of Bob Bashera based on local news live reports.

Action News spoke with a former colleague at Wayne State University where she used to work in the engineering department.
The colleague, who wished to remain anonymous, says Bashara would visit the office not for business, but just to see the woman.
The 7 Action News Investigators have also uncovered a real estate deal, in which it is believed Bashara was buying the other woman a home.

My heart goes out to Family and especially Jane's Children. By all appearances they have lost both Parents. I cant begin to imagine what they are going thru. This could get a whole lot uglier.......

Meanwhile, Grosse Pointe Park resident James McCuish, who said he’s a friend and business partner of Bob Bashara, said he was angry about rumors that he was the accomplice in custody.

He said he tried to help find Jane Bashara’s killer by offering $10,000 to local residents shortly after her body was found Wednesday near 7 Mile and Hoover.


McCuish, who said he owns property with the Basharas, said he’s also upset the focus of talk in the Pointes has shifted from the loss of Jane Bashara to who killed her.

“This is a disaster for this family,” he said. “I don’t know what happened. All I did was offer a reward for my ex-partner’s wife’s death.”

Joe worked for Bob Bashara doing odd jobs for Bashara's rental properties. Joe confided in a friend and the friend urged Joe to go to LE. Channel 4 is reporting that Joe isn't under arrest. Scratches all over Joe's motor cycle jacket. Police think that those scratches came from Jane. Joe admits putting Jane in the backseat of her SUV.

Jane's famly has had issue with with Bob for more than a decade. Won't discuss the nature of the issues but believe police are on the right path.

Listening to Channel 7 Action News. Interviewed 2 women who lived in apt. formerly occupied by Gentz and (formerly) owned by Bob. Said they were terrified of Gentz. Gentz boasted of weapons and would roam and knock on their doors all hours of the night. Stalked one of them.
