What does "My Bashara" mean? Say what?
Who gives a blank what his hair is doing anyway? Really weird imo.
I think it was a typo in the tweet. Suppose to have read as Mr. Bashara I suspect?

Does JG have to testify for the Prosecution?

It's hard to imagine what G would say in defense of bb. Now, we're expected to believe JG did the evil deed on his own? Is that how they were hoping to twist the story? And, if he admits bb wasn't involved or present, JG keeps 2nd degree murder charge. But, if he doesn't admit whatever the defense is after, he'll be upped to 1st degree charges?
Oh, that seems fair. :gaah:

He was only on the Defense witness list. Appears the Prosecution doesn't need him. It was part of his deal to get 2nd degree murder charge-his testimony. I assume at that time the Prosecution felt they did need him. Since he has declined he sets himself up for 1st degree charge to be brought. Gentz broke the deal.

What is the ratio of the twelve? Has that been determined yet? Can't recall the procedure as to how the twelve are selected versus their alternates.

I'm not going to stereotype (fighting the urge to do so). There are lots of men who find it disgusting when a husband murders their wife, the mother of their nearly grown children, thus robbing her of the fruits of her labor so he can gain financial freedom and in order to fulfill his extreme (imo) sexual desires. I have to believe that most men will find BB's decision to hire a hit man to end his wife's life a serious crime.
Not sure how Michigan operates as far as who is a Juror and who is an Alternate. Excellent question. Well as I see it if they are Jurors who were honest they will put there personal feelings aside and base their decision on the facts and only the facts. As it should be. IMO I don't care what consenting adults do behind closed doors. Not my gig but to each his own. As long as nobody gets hurt. Unfortunately somebody did. I don't judge Bob on his lifestyle just that he killed his wife to partake in it.
ETA-I do believe Bob participated in some fashion. I don't doubt Gentz did chicken out and Bob held a gun to his head. IMO.

I think the Prosecution was smart to say away from Gentz. Obviously they feel there case is strong enough without him? Or perhaps it just came down to Gentz blowing his credibility. What a hay day that would create. Trial would be more about Gentz than Bob. IMO.

Will be interesting to watch openings to hear how the prosecution lays out their case without the actual murderer.

Oh thanks. I was thinking wth? with the idea of the judge referring to "My Bashara".
You'd think I could have figured out what you pointed out but, hey, "my brain" is on overload these days!

I hear you about the judging thing but under these circumstances, I can't help but to judge. Why?
Because in my heart of hearts I believe when bb married his wife, (who we already know had her life taken from her by his design), he already understood she wasn't into the same sexual acts that he KNEW he needed in his life. You can't pick a wife who does her best to raise your children and present herself well to the community to hide behind and then, at the same time, carry on with your wicked ways (lying and cheating).
bb should have found a better match for himself from the start. I hate men like him because they feed off of other peoples' goodness and cause sickness in those who would otherwise be well. So, yes, I judge.

I could care less what two people do together when they aren't hurting one another - just have no desire to know about the details of their private lives. To me, these particular behaviors are weird. Straighter laced people are entitled to their own opinions too.

I look at this a little differently as I consider bb the actual murderer.

I hear you. And I agree BB is a total 🤬🤬🤬. By my moral standards I agree and support your stance. I'm just pointing out it cannot and should not enter into a decision of guilt or innocence in a Court of Law. An alternative lifestyle cheating husband does not make a murderer. Except in this case as I believe BB is just that. LOL and yes we can judge here as we are not the Jurors.

I do believe Gentz's first account. For me BB was just as guilty. I don't doubt BB "helped" in some fashion. We likely will never know exactly how but I do think he physically contributed. Poor Jane.

In other cases, the "alternates" have been selected - and subsequently dismissed - in a random drawing of names following closing arguments. All of the potential jurors will listen to testimony but won't know who will ultimately decide the case until the trial concludes.
