The laptop and two desk top computers belong to Therese Giffen, who lives out of state, and were taken into evidence back in March and she wants the computers back. Little is known about her or her relationship with Bob Bashara.

Attorney for Bob Bashara, Mark Procida said, "I suspect that there are emails, they were acquaintances. They're, again we haven't had a chance, we haven't been told by the prosecutor. I don't know if they've gone through, what's on those computers."

Procida says both the prosecution and defense will copy what's on those computers and return them to Giffen's attorney by Friday. What's clear is there's so much that's not known about this case.

Thursday, October 16, 2014, day three of testimony


Rachel Gillett, the ninth witness overall, took the stand again today for the second day.

Witness, number ten, Courtney Johns, took the stand briefly (for about six minutes) before RG returned to the stand.
CJ was a tenant in one of bb's rental properties but referred to Gillett as her landlord. She moved into the apartment in January 2011 and had two roommates living with her. She had contact with bb in January 2012.

That Rachel is embellishing as to how much Bob wanted her and was willing to sacrifice to be with her. That that is how Rachel perceived their relationship. Not Bob. Since it appears the Prosecution's position is Rachel was the motive (not that they have to prove a motive) Defense wants jurors to believe Rachel is full of chit and/or a French fry short of a happy meal lol. Guess the Defense feels they will forget the emails etc. Bob sent professing their deep bond and how he would never release her. IMO

Yes! The tweets were great as well as the links to the tweets and live blog.

It seems to me that Bob thought a great deal of Rachel based on his behavior and his e-mails. He gave her heirloom jewelry. He wanted someone to show off for. He wanted to be the Master of someone, anyway.

She seemed easy to control, up until the moment she saw him on TV and learned he'd lost his wife, his best friend, blah, blah, blah.

That pic of Bob crying is so infuriating. I want to kick him in the shins and ask him 'was it worth it Bob". Now ya got nothing. Nothing but 3 hots and a cot. Poor Jane. I cant help but think she suffered. I picture these two bumbling fidiots in that garage screaming "You do it" "No you do it". Out comes the gun and Gentz has no choice. I also believe Bob got his licks in too.
