Back to back appt's tomorrow and work somewhere in the mix. Hope I can see some of Bob's .........he doesn't get this is a hearing not a Trial. I cant help but feel sorry for his Lawyer. Painful to watch.
:tyou: for the links. I watched a segment last night. Clearly, Bob wants to run the show and gets frustrated when Judge Evans won't let him have control of her courtroom. I don't think any of Bashara's testimony is germane to the case, nor would it change the outcome. Lurid details of BB's sexual escapades might even make a new jury despise him more than the first. :moo:
Bondage Bob in bid to overturn murder conviction: Detroit dungeon master claims he had no need to kill his wife as she was fine with him sleeping with other women
A man convicted of ordering the murder of his wife so he could devote himself to a life of bondage and domination claimed his wife gave him permission to continue his unconventional lifestyle.
Bob Bashara from Detroit has petitioned Wayne County Circuit Court to overturn his first-degree murder conviction and life sentence claiming his constitutional rights were violated during his trial last year.
Bashara was convicted last December of ordering his wife, Jane's murder, in 2012.
I'm watching while DH is on the phone with Comcast. Seems our WiFi isn't working which might explain why live stream keeps going out every few minutes. DH's cell phone and laptop aren't working at all, so there's obviously a signal issue. Hopefully, it will be repaired shortly.
Court is on break. :dramaqueen: Bob was feigning being choked up and dabbed tears when he started to say that he had to tell people about Jane's death. Judge suggested 15 minute break.
Bob manages to recall things that HE thinks are important but can't seem to recall many things when Prosecutor asks him to answer specific questions. Keep talking, Bob. You're doing a fine job sealing your fate.
Remember the last time he fake cried during an interview? And he got called on it and admitted he wasn't crying, said he didn't know why he did that.
I think this time he might have cried for real because Lindsey is killing him. He can't go three questions without lying and then being caught out on it.
