It was mentioned earlier, starting around #35. Several people alluded to the shared phones but I can't find the source of that info.

IMO maybe “sharing a phone” means they’re on some type of family plan. They would each have access to the others data, call logs, etc. ??

It wasn't on MSM, but it was said that he had a phone, then there was a phone they both shared. The shared phone was in the car but his was missing. Makes me think his may have been a burner phone.

I'm wondering if they have T-mobile... My husband and I just switched to them and we have 3 phones because it was a better deal than getting 2 and we received a bunch of freebie upgrades along with Netflix and some other neat stuff. I have one, he has one and we share the 3rd one as a mobile hotspot and business phone.

With baby having a dry diaper and it being stated that he was not dehydrated, he had to had been changed within a few hours of being found. All 4 of my kids at 5 mos only needed to be changed every 3 to 4 hours or so unless they were snacking or drinking a lot of water or juice.

IMO, he went to hang out with someone and something went bad at whatever residence he was at. They (I absolutely hate to say this) disposed of him, put baby in the vehicle, didn't bother to buckle him in because they weren't going to go far. Dropped it off near by to Mama's work knowing it would most likely be found quickly. I think that the person or persons did not plan this and are very familiar with Jerome and his gf. I believe it was probably an argument that went south and they panicked and did everything very quickly. I have a feeling that Jerome is hidden not very far from wherever this happened. I think LE maybe waiting on phone records to see who he was in contact with last.

All of this is JMO, IMO, MOO

Yeah I think it's all in the phone records.

SBM: What might this indicate? I have some ideas of what this could mean but am curious what others might think. Is the fact that his car was found so close to where he was allegedly last seen significant?

Maybe he was going to go and pick up some weed from someone. Lots of people smoke weed these days. He could have been set up and ambushed. Explains why no one in the area heard anything strange. Someone else drove the car to that location with another prerson tailing, then got in the other car and left the baby there. Thank god the baby is ok. Hope they find jerome :/

yes, lots of mentions upthread reporting that he had just dropped her off at work and was en route to drop their son off at day care.

I was waiting for someone else to say something about sharing a phone (these days)... seems unheard of, really. There must be an explanation.
Its not that weird, my parents share a phone. When youre attached at the hip to someone and live with them its not weird at all.

It's still weird to me. No-one I know shares a phone.

I think exactly the same Henry (post no. 67)

I have the feeling that the police forces did not find signs of struggle in the car because he was probably taken at gunpoint by two individuals, not just one, and he did what he was told straightaway in order to protect his son.

The car was moved to a different location by these two while they were thinking what to do with the baby, that is the only plausible explanation I can think of for the baby to have 7-8 hours later his diaper still dry.

He might have been tricked to turn up for an appointment with the excuse these two individuals wanted to hire him for some business -I read on another post he was self-employed- so it would make sense he would go with his baby because he was not worried about anything bad happening.

I am sorry to say I have a bad feeling this is not going to end well. I would love to be proven wrong.

Police are suspecting no foul play but the family is saying otherwise and couldn't understand why Jerome would vanish and leave his son alone in the car without leaving any indication of where he was going and why. The family has started a Go Fund Me account to hire a private investigator to search for Jerome and are offering a $10,000 reward for any information that can lead to his location.

If he just wanted to leave I think he would have taken the baby to the sitter. Wasn't he supposed to be on the way there?

From what I've read, yes. I agree, it would have been more logical to do that if you were to leave voluntarily than to abandon your child in a vehicle. MOO

I agree....supports the theory that others are involved.
