I understand wanting to hope and believe that Jessica is alive and being held, and maybe she is, but this is a crime forum and it can be important to try to think where he may have left her if she is not alive. i.e. if he was local, how far would he feel comfortable driving to be able to be back within a short time, so his absence would not be noted, for example.

I'm confused. If you google LLL his mugshots come up. is the second guy from the left the same as the other 3 who are clearly the same person? #2 looks more like the suspects sketch but not so much like the other 3 mugshots. and is the younger kid with glasses LLL as a younger kid?

That is awful. I must say what i have to say though. I have a murderer in my family. He did it under the use of drugs, and was in prison a long time. He was young, and he knows what he did wrong. He is a great person now, and has total remorse and has learned his lesson. So some people do learn and can be rehabilitated. so glad he was given the chance at life again, even though what he did will never be forgotten.

That's a different case though - Lotus was talking about a known sex offender. And I agree with her - it's long been my belief that sex offenders cannot be rehabilitated.

Also: Google street view of the drive north from the gas station on Grand Haven shows something curious: A two tone silvery mini van on the side of the highway with its window down, parked directly under the flight path of an airport runway.

According to the official registry website, he lives in Norton Shores and works in Grand Haven. It indicates that the information was last verified on 4/10/2013.

I believe you're the second person (at least) to mention that. Where are you getting that information?

ETA: I actually found the issue. If you type in the address into Google Maps and go to street view, the house you are looking at does not belong to LLL. To clarify, the house with the open garage and van inside is NOT the correct house. I'm not sure why Google is incorrect, but I know this because I walked past it today. There was no evidence of a silver van at his actual address. To note, his garage was closed but it would be speculative to say anything was in the garage.

ETA #2: I want to add a disclaimer. I am not accusing LLL of anything. The intent of my post was to clarify that Google Maps is inaccurate as it relates to his address. It is important to clarify this fact because there does appear to be a van in the garage of the incorrect address. We don't need any false accusations as a result of inaccurate information.

A thought just popped into my mind. This is my opinion only and complete speculation at this point. The house on Google Maps with the open garage may belong to the other RSO living on the same street. His street number is even so it would be on that side of the street. Also, the street numbers didn't follow a logical progression which may be a reason Google Maps is inaccurate. Interesting.

Actually what the poster said is the reality of the situation. I'm sure Jessica's family are very aware of the reality and possible outcome. I pray for a miracle and that Jessica comes back safe. The perp didn't take her to return her, especially if she was familiar with him. I pray I'm wrong.

The new video was taken from Coin Zone on Grand Haven Road, Shaw said.
