Politics, religion, sexual orientation, pro wrestling, you name it. Lol

what does he say about religion and sexual orientation?

funny that he's a RSO and he's talking about sexual orientation.

SO - she was outside at the pumps "doing paperwork" (taking counts off the pumps? what other paperwork would there be?) about 2.5 hours before she was going to close. there was another report that i quoted a while back that said she was "cleaning a machine" when she vanished. i've always wondered if that meant a pump or a vending machine type of thing in the store.

She was replacing the receipt tape on one of the pumps according to the witness that last saw her. It's found here in the video at the link.

So the van was heading north on GH road about a mile from the station and then to the coin place just south of Airport road and then north again on GH road?

is that right?

BBM:
I'll use your post to bump this info again right quick.

FROM FACEBOOK:

How can I report a convicted sex offender?

Convicted sex offenders are not allowed to use Facebook. If you've encountered an account that may belong to a convicted sex offender, please report this to us.

Please provide one of the following with your report:

A link to a listing in a national sex offender registry
A link to an online news article
A link to a court document
Documentation verifying the report attached to the sex offender report form

http://www.facebook.com/help/210081519032737/

FB is only part of the issue. If a RSO knowingly provides false information, such as listing their official residence as "Homeless" to hide their true address....

"The van left and drove down this alleyway or roadway (in the strip mall), Shaw said. "And as the van went by, she was able to see the driver's face."

So this witness got the description from a passing, moving van at night. Hmmm

http://www.woodtv.com/dpp/news/local/muskegon_county/witness-minivan-scouted-exxon-before-jessica-heeringa-abduction

hmmmm is right.

I wonder if there are street lights or what speed the driver of the van would have been going in that alleyway/roadway. IIRC the witness said they parked at the guitar shop.
Locals any comment?

Just checking in and so dismayed Jessica hasn't been found. Time is certainly clicking by, but I will hold the belief for the family she is still alive and will be found.

Crazy idea. :seeya:
If they had a picture or video of the suspect, would they do a sketch from it, rather than releasing it?
Maybe to avoid the possibility of admitting to the perp that they had an actual picture or video of him?

Maybe thinking the sketch is less likely to make him panic and the picture can be a secret weapon later?
This would explain why LE feels the sketch is a 10 out of 10... and are so confident about it.

Perhaps there isn't a human witness who saw the perp at all...

I think this is extremely likely.

Sounds like they continued north on GH but who knows if they turned onto Airport Road or continued north??? (They were just seen last south of Airport Road.)

Can the locals comment on the speed of the vehicle approaching Airport Rd as seen in the Coin Zone vehicle, and opine on whether or not the vehicle was likely to continue through the intersection or exit R or L?

It almost seems as if the vehicle is drifting toward the left-turn lane.

Why have there been no searches? I don't want to be a Debbie downer but there seems to be plenty of open space and water nearby. Remember that items were found (folded clothing/cell phone) in the Sierra Lamar case. Couldn't JH's glasses, clothing, etc be strewn about somewhere?

Forgive me if this was addressed in Thread #1, I am still catching up on Jessica's case.

1. Did Jessica "normally" go into the parking lot and leave her register?

2. If no, an assumption could be made that the man in the van knew that she did not normally do that.

3. If yes, what was Jessica going to the parking lot for all the time anyway, and specifically, why was she in the parking lot that night?

4. I wonder why the VA thought that the POI waited for Jessica, was he sitting there in the van a long time?

VanAntwerpen says he overheard the man in the van talking lightheartedly with Heeringa about being in the parking lot and not inside the store behind the cash register.

"Kind of joking almost; I think it struck me as weird because the guy did not go into the building. He wanted to wait until she was in sight and start having this conversation with her," VanAntwerpen told WZZM 13.

Thank you, exactly, this is very odd to me too. Now, misterG said he did see a K9 searching a few days ago near the gas station, a field by the industrial area, but I'm very confused as to why there have been no organized searches, at least that we know about. What could it hurt, even if its likely she was removed from the area via vehicle? There are obviously enough volunteers willing to help. Have I missed something here re: the searches? It's been almost a week and no mention of walking any grids. Thoughts?

Ahh...yes, the "homeless" issue. Came across this article earlier.

snipped by me:
"Under Oregon law there are no special check-in requirements for homeless sex offenders like there are in Washington."

“We have sex offenders moving from all over the country to our city to be homeless here,” said Officer Sara Clark. “We’ve had guys move up from sunny San Diego in December to be homeless in our city.”

More on VA's description of what he saw and heard:

VanAntwerpen said he watched a man in a silver minivan approach Heeringa when she was at a gas pump, preparing to close the Norton Shores, Mich., Exxon station where she had been working alone on the late shift.

"He was just like, 'Hey, what are you doing over here? Aren't you supposed to be inside?' Just kind of being real flirty, weird about it," VanAntwerpen said.

"It was just bizarre that he seemed to be actively looking for her, like he knew her and then had this attitude that he wanted to have a conversation with her and then conduct business, and that is what seemed really out of place to me," he said.

It almost seems as if the vehicle is drifting toward the left-turn lane.

Aerial view/map reveals that if you plan to head north of Airport Rd. from the Exxon, it makes no sense not to take Highway 31 - the entrance is adjacent to the Exxon - and avoid the slower speed limits and possible video surveillance of Grand Haven Road, UNLESS you plan to head west on Airport Rd. If so, 31 would be out of the way despite the highway speeds.

Home video of Jessica and her son...

This choked me up. She's so sweet with her little boy. You can see just how petite she is. :( I'm staying hopeful. Hard as it is.

A mother`s love easy to see in this home video Jessica`s fiancé says their son knows mom isn’t suppose to be at work this long but they`re trying to keep him busy, but even more he would liked to see Jessica and hear her voice.

So the van was heading north on GH road about a mile from the station and then to the coin place just south of Airport road and then north again on GH road?

is that right?

Isn't it just continuing north on GH?

The minivan -- possibly a Chrysler Town and Country -- was first caught on surveillance camera at the Old Homestead tavern. It was headed north on Grand Haven Road about a mile from the gas station.

The second surveillance video police released Wednesday (above) is from the Coin Zone on Grand Haven Road just south of Airport Road. It shows the minivan (just behind the black van) continuing north on Grand Haven Road at 11:04 p.m., according to Norton Shores Police Chief Dan Shaw.
