Man questioned in Jessica Heeringa case
9:24 PM, May 1, 2013

WZZM was the only media outlet on the scene when the driver was stopped.

WZZM 13's Phil Dawson reports the man left the police station with investigators around 8 p.m., and was transported in an unmarked police vehicle without handcuffs.

Norton Shores Police Chief Daniel Shaw says the man is being questioned further "off site." Officers are not naming the man as a suspect.

That was my thought. If he's free to go, then he's free to go. Not sure why they would be taking him offsite or anywhere for that matter if they were satisfied he was clean.

I'm confused as all get out. If he's not a suspect/POI why is he being questioned any further? Let alone off-site. And according to the twitter feed WHY should we email the reporter about questions? Is it over?
