That was my thought. If he's free to go, then he's free to go. Not sure why they would be taking him offsite or anywhere for that matter if they were satisfied he was clean.

safety reasons maybe?

Does anyone know where they pulled him over? What road is that?

I don't know and I can't tell, but it looks like there's a wired fence in the background and a parking lot.
My first thought was... school parking lot??

IF he's agreed to submit to a poly, would that be conducted "off-site"?

Norton Shores Police Chief Daniel Shaw says the man is being questioned further "off site."

bbm -- off site?

are they going to his home??

Maybe he confessed to something? Oy. My imagination is in over drive. It's wine time!

Often times there is a person of interest even when they say they have no person of interest. That doesn't mean this guy is one, but I wouldn't be surprised. I just hope she is alive. It seems like every time I follow one of these cases they are never returned alive. Just once can the victim still be alive?

Maybe he knows WHERE she is and WHO done it. And he's showing them the location. <Wishful thinking I know.

Could be. Or maybe taking him somewhere that an eye witness can take a look.

I haven't seen a report yet that he has been cleared. Maybe they are taking him to his house for further questioning or maybe they have a lead where she is at? He's not jumping the gun calling him a suspect until they have proof? That's what I'm hoping for otherwise it doesn't sound good.<Mod Snip>.

Is this it.... what do we think....

Doesn't sound good. If he was guilty he would refuse and hire a lawyer.

So car "impounded for time being."

Suppose would need to have cause or his permission to examine vehicle...

Could be that he's not allowed to refuse. If you're on probation I know you lose certain rights. Maybe they know they own his butt, and if he doesn't co-operate then..it's off to the slammer.

Good question.
(Looks like the road runs North/South, shadows from West)

Flutter? MrG?
