Regarding the composite sketch, I would just like to point out that there are 2 people who would have been able to give a description to a sketch artist...right? If not 3?
IIRC, and please correct me if I am wrong.
There is:
witness #1: the co-worker who noted the suspicious activity and saw the "man in the van". If I remember from the beginning of this, the co-worker is a woman. In addition, she may or may not have had a passenger (witness #2: IF true...I'm not sure she had a passenger in her vehicle when watching the suspicious activity). Can anyone help confirm? Then witness #3: the guy who worked nearby and witnessed the strange verbal interaction between Jessica and the "man in the van"...which IIRC this 'odd' interaction was up to 2 hours prior to actual abduction.

Above is what I think I know from following this case. Thus, I think the composite should be pretty accurate and not coming from just 1 person watching a "man in a van" go by a night. IMO IMO

(BTW...I vote for using MITV "Man In the Van" for the perp...cause think I just typed 3 times...)

I am getting pretty sick of the "We were first on the scene" and "We are the ONLY news crew to see this" reporting! It is sickening!
Working all day today, but will try to check in if anyone needs local perspective. I know we have at least one other local (the awesome mistergwriter). Here's hoping today is the day. Her poor family :(

Depending on what the person was wearing an estimate of weight could really be off if the guy was wearing a large sweatshirt or jacket. I have seen pics of LLL on his and others fb pages and I definitely would not call him skinny. Especially in one with his shirt off where he appears to have broad shoulders. I would think the facial features would be a more telling sign. Close set eyes, eyebrows, square jaw line etc...JMO. In the buzz cut pics he doesn't resemble the sketch nearly as much....but that one mug shot looks just like the sketch IMO!!!

I wonder if the FBI is going to see who pinged the cell phone tower(s) in the area before or after the abduction. (There's a straw, guys, grasp it.)

I watched testimony in the Jodi Arias trial until late last night (AZ is three hours behind Michigan on EDT) and checked here a few times to see if there were any new developments. I hoped that there might be some news about Jessica, but I worry that the length of time that she has been missing does not bode well for a safe return.

Stopped at McDonalds for coffee this morning and they have a life sized pic of the POI face on the drive-thru window. At first that made me happy, but then I started to think that if this is indeed a good likeness and the perp was local, someone would have recognized him and called it in by now. So I'm worried that he's either not from the area (bad) or the sketch is not very accurate (also bad).

I do not have the link handy but #3 the verbal witness did not see the man in the van MITV, he did say that he heard the conversation and his voice.

Another article linked last night said said that the sketch came from the woman witness who was parked in the strip mall.

Found the link

I wish we knew for certain that the FBI is involved with this case. Someone posted an article a couple of days ago with the list of agencies working the case, and the FBI was not among them. I'm sure that they were consulted, but there is no indication that the Feds are involved in the investigation. Jessica does not appear on the FBI's Missing Persons list, and I know that it has been updated daily since the young woman disappeared.

did any of his fb pics have him with longish wavy brown hair parted down the middle?

I know in one of his mugshots he has wavy brown hair parted down the middle.

@FOX17 Norton Shores police chief says Heeringa family wishes to do ground search but police need to get permission from property owners.

It's sad to think that the FBI only gets involved to assist "if necessary" and then after the fact when they stop actively searching.

I'm getting the feeling we are way off track, and someone knows more than they're saying. Just a hunch. MOO
