I always enjoy the juggaloo-angle. Any of her FB friends that are fans of the Insane Clown Posse? They may have sacrificed her to Lord Satan.
Or, like in Mickey Shunick's case (IIRC), weird and creepy anime fans. Was there an anime convention during the time of Jessica's disappearance? This folks are worse than carnies, I heard.

Idk if you meant that to be funny, but I am :floorlaugh: over here!

I think the sketch was a 10 out of 10 because they found someone that drives a van that looks just like the person described and is not involved in any way!

If that was the case, I sure hope it'd be shared with the public!

I took it to mean they would be able to contact everyone whose cell pinged at that location during the time she disappeared and then narrow in on him via process of elimination? Si if perp carried a cell that night, why haven't they been able to do so?

If JA had a cell on her while being transported, maybe they could have followed the route by tower pings. I've seen it happen on tv anyway.

Freudian Slip?
You do mean JH, not JA? :)
IMOO.

Bahahahaha! sorry. I hate to laugh but your perceptions of "Juggalos" are misconstrued. When ICP (nothing but a foul mouthed rap group) came out in Detroit some years ago, they became popular because they did what no other group did..make light and find humor in death. (I had their self titled album and saw them on the underground circuit) So yea, they come off as really messed up carnies. But that's all "Juggalos" are. Followers of this group. Similar to what Beliebers are of Justin Bieber. Yep, they act like a bunch of drunk redneck clowns..but that's all they are. They won't sacrifice anyone to "the debbil". Some people with any mental illness could take things to the extreme. But the worst I've seen is a backyard wrestling match and some poorly made tattoos.

Naaa! they want the person that did it to think they are looking for this man.

I think prospektor is being facetious or ironic...I sensed an eye roll ;)

Ohhhh gotcha. That almost makes sense in a Reno 911 sort of way.

I think the lights were out in the back because someone was back there watching her maybe to see who she was talking to who would meet her after work.

I actually think LE has an idea who did this. They need to find her to press charges!

By someone watching her, are you thinking employee/witness responsible for sketch?

If she took off with a man they would have taken the purse the phone etc etc and waited till closing and nothing would have been odd till much later when she never arrives home. I think its someone she knows and this person was very angry with her. JMO

Flutterby is hot on my trail; I was just kidding. I did see that pop up, though (juggalos especially with Hailey Dunn and Lisa Irwin, and some other cases I can't remember right now), but even if a juggalo would turn out to have killed someone, I wouldn't see much of a connection to the music. I'm pretty sure way more murderers were fans of mainstream music. Or Dolly Parton. Just because these songs aren't obviously violence-themed, a possible connection is discarded! Who knows, maybe there are some hidden messages. Did anybody try to play some Bieber recordings backwards, for example?
It's just a symptom of how the human mind works, especially when confronted with riddles like missing person cases. We always try to connect dots, even if the dots are not supposed to be connected.

But what else can we do in a case like this at this point in the investigation? Especially when the obvious reason for any disappearance (accidentally stumbling upon a meth lab) is relatively improbable ... ;)

When folks on the Find Jessica Heeringa Facebook site have asked about what is being done with the the money that has been collected, there has been no mention of Dakota receiving any of the fundraiser donations. The money is reportedly going into a bank account for "Zevyn's future education" and for "Jessica to provide for her son when she returns home". I don't know who is handling the money that's being collected and/or who has access to the bank account/trust fund. Administrators still mention that tee-shirts are available for purchase, but there haven't been any formal fundraising activities for some time now. Things have really quieted down on the Facebook site with very few posts in recent weeks.

https://www.facebook.com/FindJessicaHeeringa

I've been following the FB page since it started. The money originally was for a color sketch until the family said they did not want it.

We Did It! Our Booster Campaign Has Closed 11 T-shirts Sold - Help to Raise Funds to Reward for info Leading to Jessica's Safe Return

Jessica Heeringa was abducted on April 26, 2013 from her work. The resources raised will also be utilized to increase the amount of the reward fund.

Please visit our Facebook page go to this site. for live updates - and subscribe to stay current as news develops.

Donation post - hosting a Cake Pop Bake Sale for Jessica and Zevyn. They will be at The Lakes Mall in Muskegon this Saturday, June 22nd from 10am-5pm.

There will be cake pops, cupcakes, chocolate covered pretzels, etc. Donations will go to the Jessica Heeringa Fund to support Jessica and her 3 year old son, Zevyn.

Sounds like a bit of a control freak to me, if that's the case ;)

I think that Jessica had her own cell phone - the one that was found with her other belongings on the counter at the gas station. Dakota may or may not have known about it and thought that he had her only cell phone in his possession. :moo:

LE did not say that the cell phone in Jessica's bag worked. My opinion is they had their own cell phones before he lost his job. They probably only kept minutes on one cell phone; the one that was cheapest; which IMO Dakotah had.

Normally I would say she should carry the working cell if she's working late... We don't know what shape her car is in... Dakotah had the baby; so it makes sense that he had the working cell since she had the car. We do not know how far she lives from work.

In the absence of any new information in this case for quite a while, I thought that I'd start a list of things about Jessica's disappearance and the circumstances surrounding it that give us reason to :waitasec:  :banghead: :ohwow:

Here's my short & simple list - but each statement can be accompanied by dozens of questions. Please add your concerns about the case...

1) The phone call from Dakota to Jessica about an hour before she went missing

If he's like my ex; he was checking to see when she'd be home possibly because their son was still awake; she normally tucks him in. Dakotah may also ask because he wants to know when to expect her so that if she's not home by a certain time; he will assume she broke down. Possible he cooks dinner for both of them. There are a lot of reasons why he may call; number one is because she's working alone.

2) The gas station employee (and her husband) who just happened to be in the vicinity of the scene of the abduction on the night in question and later provides description of POI and vehicle

I was trying to find the story that says this & wasn't able to find it.

Well I don't want to get in trouble here but........
these threads are a lot alike! many time if not most times the end result is the same.

How many missing wives missing girlfriends missing lovers do we read about daily? How often is it a stranger that is charged?

Look at Autumn Pasquale. She knew the brothers.

I know, I know, the things we want to discuss, we can't and I can't think of any new theories off hand....

Make a closed FB group & once everyone is there turn it to secret.

I think the sketch was a 10 out of 10 because they found someone that drives a van that looks just like the person described and is not involved in any way!

Someone in one of the news stories said they knew someone it looked like that drove a van. IMO they have not been able to find the person or have found them but have nothing to charge them with; can't make the connection.

The thing is about a closed facebook page, wouldn't a person have to use their real facebook profile? How do you mean turn it to secret, so that no one on the facebook page can see each other? Compromising safety by having people know who people are, is very scary. Who is to say the perp wouldn't join that page?
