I wish there could be a break in Jessica's case. It is very sad Jessica's little boy and family face yet another Christmas without Jessica or knowing what happened to her. I hope and pray the police catch a break in the case next year.

I just came across this article that says there was a witness in Jessica's case that claims they saw her being forced into the van and I don't ever remember reading that before. Does anyone else?

JESSICA HEERINGA
Jessica Heeringa is described as 5'1" tall, weighing 110 lbs., with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Jessica Heeringa was working alone at a gas station in Norton Shores, Michigan on April 26, 2013 when she vanished. A witness told police he saw the then 25-year-old mother being forced into a silver Chrysler minivan. Investigators found no signs of a struggle, but did find Jessica's cellphone, keys and purse inside the store. Police believe Heeringa was lured outside. The case attracted national attention and a sketch of a suspect was released, but police have been unable to identify him. If you have any information that can help in Jessica's case, please call the Norton Shores Police Department at (231) 733-2691 or the Silent Observer at (231) 722-7463.

If this is true, then why didn't that witness call LE since there was only Jessica working alone that night? The store had no clerk.
IMOO.

Did the guy that police shot (Brad Mason) own or have access to a silver van?

Did the witness at the gas station who saw a man talking to Jessica a few hours before she was abducted ever get identified? Could it have been Mason?

http://m.imdb.com/title/tt5243902/?ref_=m_ttep_ep_ep2

Thanks for this update it is great Jessica's case is being featured let's hope it brings some leads. It is tragic there has been no developments and Jessica's family has no answers. I still search for Jessica's case each time I visit websleuths and I have email alerts for any news. I hope and pray for a break in her case asap.

Does this mean that Disappeared is returning (the old format and narrator who, imho, was excellent)!? I hope so, as this would be awesome.

I've followed Jessica's case since she first disappeared and it really is so very baffling and really needs to have more national media attention. I'm glad Discovery is picking her story up.

It looks like a different narrator than the original series according to IMDb. I agree that the original narrator was excellent and made the show. Along with the intro music.

It also might only be streamed on Hulu? I can't figure out if the new Season 7 will be on tv. ID website is kind of clunky.

I can't believe Jessica will have been missing for three years later this month on the 26th of April 2016 and there have been no developments. How can a person/a mother/a daughter just vanish like this? If someone knows something about Jessica's disappearance it is time for them to start talking please if you visit this thread please do the right thing.

She would help anybody who needed help,” Homrich said.

Jessica’s mother agreed.

“She would have helped anybody," Shelly said. "That was probably her downfall. She probably thought he (the abductor) needed help.”

Shelly said her daughter is "kind of an old soul.”

“Her favorite group was The Beatles," she said. "She liked tie dye and peace signs."

Shelly said her daughter is very intelligent and an avid reader. She was a straight-A student who attended Kenowa and Sparta schools before graduating from homeschooling, and she hoped to continue on in school and work in accounting.

Shaw said police reviewed a video Monday evening supplied by a nearby business on Grand Haven Road that shows the vehicle of a possible suspect. He said a grey or silver minivan, possibly a Chrysler Town & Country, is shown traveling north on Grand Haven Road.

Authorities are looking for the driver, who is described as a white man, age 30-40, about 6 feet tall, with center-parted light brown wavy hair.
