File on Jeffrey Willis’ computer labeled with Jessica Heeringa’s name
Video/article: http://woodtv.com/2016/06/22/file-on-willis-computer-labeled-with-jessica-heeringas-name/

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — In a file titled “vics” on one of Jeffrey Willis’ hard drives, there was a folder labeled with Jessica Heeringa’s name, a source close to the investigation told 24 Hour News 8 on Wednesday afternoon.

The existence of the “vics” — short for “victims” — file was made public in court earlier Wednesday during Willis’s preliminary hearing in the murder case of Rebekah Bletsch. Also in the file was a folder labeled “RSB” — Bletsch’s initials — and a code that worked out to the date of her murder. The folder contained photos of Bletsch, photos of a woman who looked similar to her on a bed wearing only underwear and wanted posters in the Bletsch case.

Thank you enzeder; I see the family is saying the Norton Shores Police Dept is denying there was a file on Willis's computer with Heeringa's name on it with "Vic", although Wood TV 8 in the link above, said it was mentioned in court today for the hearing. I really am wonderding about the NSPD....after all, one of the deputies is a good friend of Willis; Such a good friend that Willis had a key to the deputies hunting cabin where they went snowmobiling.

Quote From http://woodtv.com/2016/06/22/file-on-willis-computer-labeled-with-jessica-heeringas-name/ : "The property is owned by Norton Shores Police Office Shawn Stefanich. Willis, who was friends with Stefanich and called him just after his May arrest, also has a key to the cabin on that property because he would go snowmobiling there."

A lot of conflicting statements coming from the NSPD, and Red Flags----his cousin who is a Correctional Officer/Sergent being arrested and being held on very large bond, because of concern he will tamper with evidence concerning the Heeringa case. (Will look for link if needed, it has been posted in previous posting)

The media rumour about a file on one of Jeffrey Willis computers being named Jessica Heeringa is NOT true according to Norton Shores Police Department who were called by administrator of the Find Jessica Heeringa Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/FindJessicaHeeringa/posts/378487472275721

Just expanding on what enzeder kindly posted.

P.s It is kind of insane the hypothetical idea a murderer would have files named after his victims on a computer it would be incredibly dumb of the perpretrator if true in my opinion. I don't know what to think but it should be considered a rumour per websleuths rules here until confirmed by the police.

Just seen these tweets by Ken Koller a reporter for Wood TV 8 regarding the Rebekah Bletsch hearing today attended by Jeffrey Willis. This is what was found on his computer.

Ken Kolker ‏@kenkolker 3h3 hours ago

Found videos called "kidnap and kill" showing real life kidnapping and killing video.

Ken Kolker ‏@kenkolker 3h3 hours ago

Found videos of sexual relations with deceased individuals[/B], thousands of them. https://twitter.com/kenkolker?lang=en-gb

I wonder if Jessica is sadly among these videos my own speculation only.

Incredibly dumb but we have to remember, he's gotten away with it for 3 years now.

I've been saying that they most likely found photos of her in his car when they announced he was a POI; so I wouldn't be surprised.

Prayers to Jessica's family. I don't know how they're processing all of this since they thought she was still alive.

This is really disgusting. I know the media need to cover this important story but leave these poor families alone. They are living through the worst pain imaginable and do not need any more distress.

"Someone needs to send a copy of Code of Ethics to the news staff of Wood Tv. Has integrity eroded in journalism? Are the news reporters Journalists? I'm deeply saddened by today's events.

The victims of these local cases, don't just stop with Rebekah Bletsch & Jessica Heeringa. The victims also include these women's family members. The families of Becky & Jess have lived the worst kind of hell over the past 3 years.

Every headline is dramatized to get clicks. It's all about ratings & advertising dollars. These so called journalists.... Do not care about what's happening in the community. They most definitely do not care about the VICTIMS!

Tonight, about 3 minutes after I called Jessicas family to tell them about the latest breaking news, there were 3 reporters from Wood tv 8 in the driveway of Jessicas family. Trying to blindside them with the news of the recent events. They were after the shock & awe factor for their news report.

After no response they went to the home of Jessicas little boy. Now, this is just crossing the line. He has been through enough.
Where is the integrity? Or a simple phone call to ask for a interview.

NSPD is working hard to find answers! Sensationalized news reports takes away from letting them do their job. If you see the police searching a area, it's not your responsibility to call and report it to the media.

This is a nightmare for our community & for all the victims involved. Please, leave these families alone. Their lives are not a story. It's not media ratings for them. It's a nightmare.

In the end the truth will come out. Justice will be served.

Please pray for the families involved.
As Always • ONE MISSION"

Regarding those kidnap and kill videos found on Willis' computer: The investigator said some were acting and others were not and they ended in murder. Who are the victims in these videos?! I would assume the faces of the women in the videos would be compared against faces of missing but there are so many missing I'm wondering if they can they possibly do that. If they can't identify them then pics of their faces will need to be released to the public to try and find out who they are.

Also, who is the women pictured on a bed that "looked like" Rebecca Bletch? I can't imagine that it actually was her because A) there wasn't time to abduct her, take her somewhere and then throw her out on the road and B) I don't think he would have dumped her on the road if he had abducted her.

I'm thinking a lot of this horrible stuff Willis had on his devices came from the dark web.

I noted the investigator did NOT say anything about a Willis file on Jessica.

One of the articles I read yesterday specifically said none of the photos in the Bletsch file were taken by Willis. I think it was rebutting the reports of a photo of a women on a bed that "looked like" her.

I hope and pray there is some sort of facial recognition software they could possibly run but maybe I have been watching too many episodes of Criminal Minds. If only cases could be solved as easily as on that show.

p.s Jeffrey was in arraigned in court today on more charges for those who haven't seen the other threads about Willis namely Rebekah's and the potential serial killer one.

"Jeffrey Willis, the Muskegon County man ordered Wednesday to stand trial for the 2014 death of jogger Rebekah Bletsch, was arraigned today on three new felony charges for surveilling an unclothed person.

Willis, dressed in an orange jail suit and wearing shackles, appeared for arraignment in Muskegon District Court late this morning. Bond was set at $70,000.

The new charges were filed Wednesday for incidents that occurred in March of 2011 and involved girls that lived in his neighborhood. The felony offense in punishable by up to five years in prison. The three counts involve two victims.

A probable cause hearing was set for July 5 and the preliminary examination is scheduled for July 11.

We might end up needing an entire forum section for what Willis has been involved in.

They've pretty much been closed mouth since he's been arrested except to say they believe he's the one that abducted Jessica. According to the article below, the vic folder came out in court, I believe the mention of the Jessica folder was someone in LE told a reporter off the record. I feel that it's most likely accurate because why would he have a folder for others yet not Jess if he abducted her? I think they have enough on him to know he is the suspect but they need her body to charge him. LE are very involved in her case, they want to make sure they have the right guy.

Source: Willis had file labeled with Heeringa’s name - Willis, charged with other murder and kidnapping, is person of interest in case - By 24 Hour News 8 web staff Published: June 22, 2016, 4:05 pm Updated: June 22, 2016, 11:16 pm

The existence of the “VICS” — short for “victims” — file was made public in court earlier Wednesday during Willis’s preliminary hearing in the murder case of Rebekah Bletsch.....

24 Hour News 8 is still working to learn what was in the Jessica Heeringa folder.
MSP: INVESTIGATORS THINK WILLIS KILLED HEERINGA

Also Wednesday, 24 Hour News 8 obtained a Michigan State Police report that states “investigators believe Jessica was murdered by Jeffrey Willis, but her body has not been located to date.”

Willis has been named a person of interest in the Heeringa case; authorities have so far not called him a suspect. A police source told 24 Hour News 8 on Tuesday investigators don’t have enough evidence to charge him. A law enforcement source also said Wednesday there is no doubt in their mind that Willis abducted Heeringa.

The MSP report, obtained via the Freedom of Information Act, said police searched a property in Mancelona — that’s in Antrim County in northern Michigan — in connection to the Heeringa case.

The property is owned by Norton Shores Police Office Shawn Stefanich. Willis, who was friends with Stefanich and called him just after his May arrest, also has a key to the cabin on that property because he would go snowmobiling there.

Does anyone know what the correct bond is for Willis? One says $70,000 another says held on a $1 million

Stolen gun, bullets, files: Jeffrey Willis to stand trial in Bletsch murder - By Jon Mills and Andrew Krietz , WZZM 6:17 PM. EDT June 22, 2016

Some details were disturbing: detectives said they found "kidnap and kill" videos on Willis' hard drive, including folders labeled "RSB" -- Bletsch's initials. Photos of Bletsch and reward posters since her death were on his computer, too, along with images of women who looked like Bletsch.

Police say they do not believe he took any of the images himself.

Wills' coworker said she once told Willis she has a .22 caliber hand gun. That gun went missing, only later to be found in a locked box in Willis' van and matched the shell casings found by Bletsch's body.

Could be something he got on the dark web, was attracted to the woman in the photo, inspiring him to hunt for someone similar looking. Wild guess.
