Defense re-crossing and saying to McCarthy that the changed passwords in 2015 from Willis' computer document could mean different things: "J could stand for Jeffrey instead of Jessica," "L could stand for Lawrence, my client's father's name instead of Lynn," "13 could be..." etc

Your comment sent a chill up my spine. I have gone back and forth on the role cousin KB played in these crimes -- chances are more than he has said, which is likely more than we have heard. Do you think there could yet be someone else, other than KB? Willis already tried to blame KB for Rebekah; I don't see him protecting anyone at his own expense.

I don’t believe we have the full true story of how he is involved in this with Willis. I don’t believe a word either says. But I have wondered if Willis could have met individuals with similar “interests” on the Dark Web and if he exchanged material with them.

It makes me so sick that it seems like he could have been caught at the time. Scratches on him, acting weird, tips, questioning... I think if he had been caught then, maybe Jess would have been found.

Thank you for replying. I don’t think there is an innocent explanation his attorneys could use to explain them. Why would a normal innocent person have these on their computer?

I just wish he would reveal where Jessica is. I keep hoping a family member will be able to get through to him.

I very much appreciated the response of the forensic computer analyst today to Johnson's question about trophies: 'I see these directories, folders, images, and passwords as his trophies.' I thought that was brilliant -- both the question and the answer. Because yes, Willis was keen enough to hide his own video footage of Jessica and her body somewhere no one can yet find them. But he could not resist keeping something of Jessica, of Rebekah, to prove his absolute power over them and their lives.

I guess how the jury will see that depends on their interpretation of the law. It is a kind of non-traditional virtual evidence that (IMO) laws (criminal, civil, patent, etc etc) haven't really caught up to describing and specifically dealing with. My initial response to the folders, images, passwords was 'Are these things only the kidnapper/murderer could have created?' If that is a criteria for judging guilt. Yes it is suspicious and creepy, but is it enough? I think what makes it directly and uniquely point to Willis as the murderer is that he created those directories and placed them, and only them, together. And then other (traditional) evidence backs up the link between the crimes -- the ballistics, the battery cover, the DNA, the van -- which only the murderer could have known.

Yes, those folders and passwords are a real obstacle to explain away...and Willis' lame excuse for the passwords that were changed was pathetic. He always has an excuse, doesn't he?

I hope the jury has been watching him during all this evidence of his depravity...he has been constantly writing, highlighting, talking in his lawyers ear, giving him notes as he sits there in his blue suit and tie. Weird...he stroked his beard while his ex wife testified, then teared up (or pretended), then quickly jumped up to talk to his lawyer. I don't think I have ever seen a defendant on trial for murder act like this.

No court on Monday. I hope the prosecutor gets some rest over the weekend. Sounds like he has a bad cold. So, if they will rest on Tuesday, who will be the last witness(s)?

Hello All. It has been some time since I've been here + I truly thank every one of you who has posted on Jessica's thread. It is amazing to me that we are in active trial phase. So much of this reminds me of Sierra Lamar, and as much as this breaks my heart, it is also something that should give us hope.

As I have read up on the trial posts, I see many similarities (many infuriating). It is just a sad and tragic fact that defense teams use victimology against the victim. It :censored: me off! It seems, IMO, that it is the final act of power and control to not tell where their victims are, even if it is of some benefit to them. In Jessica's case, the password speaks for itself - he has a god complex. He only excuses it when he is called to the carpet in open criminal court.

Sierra's killer was convicted of her murder (it was a capital case, but he was eventually sentenced to LWOP) - and the Sierra Search Team has not given up on finding her.

I pray that this jury is able to give #JusticeForJessica

I think it made up for the DNA testimony which I found difficult to follow. I think the testimony of video collection was devastating (and sickening). He's a monster, the worst of the worse. My heart aches for Jessica and what she went through.
