Early to Mid October posting about not being happy, tired of this place, what's wrong with me, and just wanting someone to love me for me

Also, wonder how many people went on the November NY trip, if she met any weirdo's there.

Just looking at all the daily tweets and photos is scary to me. Anyone could know where she was at all times, what she looked like, and follow her home and literally walk through those huge bedroom windows. Why, oh why, do young people tweet their every danged move!

EMU president at time of Laura's murder was John A. Fallon. He was fired in the fallout after Laura's murder. It was a major scandal for the university, which was found in violation of the Clery Act for not promptly notifying students of an on-campus rape/murder.

I don't get the Obama reference - must be confusing Admiral William Fallon with university president John A. Fallon? BTW - John Fallon works for Ball State University now, he does not work for President Obama. LOL

Rural girl must be Laura again. Her hometown of Hastings, MI is a rural small town. She also rowed on EMU's crew team.


we know kwame proposed a african NAVY academy on bell isle and live in dorms at the row club site at the boat club.. we know that jury rigging it is called SAILING in slang terms...

Sounds like some wacky conspiracy stuff about Kwame Kilpatrick, former mayor of Detroit, who has some well documented legal issues.


and granholm and kwame met at the elwood to get rid of HOMICIDE HILL and rural farmer posthumus like the hasting girl...

He's alleging that Jennifer Granholm (former Michigan governor) and Kwame Kilpatrick met at the Elwood Bar and Grill (a popular diner across from where the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers play). Apparently to conspire to get rid of 2 people: Dick Posthumus, who was Jennifer Granholm's opponent in the 2002 gubernatorial election, and Gil Hill, a former Detroit cop who was Kwame's opponent in the 2001 Detroit mayorial election. (Fun fact - Gil Hill also played Inspector Todd in the Beverly Hills Cop movies.)

Dave Bing is the current mayor of Detroit. He graduated from Syracuse University. I have no idea what 'nam and muslim bombs have to do with that.

Orange Taylor killed Laura. Apparently crazy man is trying to connect the Syracuse Orangemen with Orange Taylor? EMU's mascot is the Eagle. No idea what the Christian Rome Army has to do with anything.

the only evidence on orange was sperm on the dead rural girl. so maybe orange did not do it?

Orange's sperm was found on Laura's leg - that was the key evidence that led to his arrest and conviction.

Her parents died in the crash, so she went to live with an aunt and uncle in Alabama. No idea why he mentioned that Henry Ford II died in Michigan?

You did good I noticed a similar rant on the WDIV (clickondetroit.com) website in comments following one of yesterday's reports. The poster uses a different handle, so it's difficult to know whether he/she is the same person or if it was copied/pasted from the WXYZ site. The Channel 4 poster uses the name of a Detroit hotel with initials BC.

I also noticed two very dodgy 'sounding' females on her timeline issuing death threats and the threats being retweeted by others. Now, these could be throwaway remarks, but one of the same users say they had to delete their 'snapchat' (whatever that is?) around about the time that Julia was going missing.
I am sure the police will be all over this though, no?

A lot of the girls appear to be attached to 'teams', which almost sound lke mini gangs.
It is also very evident that there is a lot of 'shagging around', but that's normal for students, right? The difference here is that there appears to be a lot of taunting going on about 'i've got him now' and other soundbites designed to wind up whoever is reading those particular tweets.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the two tweeters who i am talking about delete their account.

I did notice she had a lot going on that could cause some jealousy if around those types. Her tweets "sounded" as if she had a lot of opportunities that others may not have, even though that may or may not be reality.

No idea what happened here, if it was a jealousy thing, a wacko follower, jilted guy. Wish there was more information being released.

^ Good point. I hope that LE has evidence that they aren't releasing to the public. There hasn't been mention of an autopsy, but I'm sure that it's required in the mysterious death of a young woman. Maybe it hasn't been completed yet. Tox screening could take a while.

I went to high school with this girl in Monroe, MI. She hated my guts and the last time we spoke was via MySpace Message in 2008 where we left things on a sour note. However, I never hated her and this still hurts.

Why post something that sounds incriminating?

I'll do my best Every time that a particular case concludes, i.e. D'Andre Lane (convicted and sentenced to life for the murder of his daughter, Bianca Jones), I tell myself that I will take a break and not get involved with another case for a while. "Myself" doesn't listen, and I end up immersed in yet another missing child case, murder mystery, etc. I've been a bona fide news junkie since I was in 8th grade, and old habits die hard.

Your scenario also makes sense as far as LE saying they don't know how she died. Poison would be a cause of death that isn't immediately recognizable.

The same person that tweeted about the water also tweeted on the 20th November 'I will kill you, *****', which was retweeted by 4 other girls, one of whom is the other twitterer that I originally talked about.
The difficulty here is that the threat is issued to no one in particular, but obviously the person it was intended for would have been aware it was to them.

Could be a throwaway tweet, but if I was investigating the case I would be arranging to speak to her by now.
