Yes, her case has appeared on various TV shows. I'd have to do some research to find the shows. The ID channel did "Still a Mystery" and Crime Stories with Nancy Grace "Unsolved Beautiful Julia Niswender Found Dead in Tub" come to mind now. If you Google Julia Niswender's murder, you can find all kinds of information concerning TV shows and many podcasts about her murder.

Im counting on Othram to solve Julia’s case. They are miracle workers.

Yes, there was DNA collected at the crime scene and during the autopsy. I believe that the MSP Crime Lab contacted Othram in the past. Julia's case number is: NV12-12097 used in MSP correspondence. Please check to see if you have had contact with the Ypsilanti Police Department or the Michigan State Police Crime Lab located at Northville, Michigan.

This news report contains a brief excerpt of an interview with Julia's stepfather. It also shows the house that the family lived in at the time of Julia's murder. In her interview with the Explore With Us YouTube channel, Julia's mother claimed that the reason Julia stayed with her grandmother was that her grandmother let her do whatever she wanted, and that it was not because there was no space for her in the Turnquist home. As you can see from this footage, that house was barely fit for two people to live in, let alone five.
