Police looking for missing woman

Police say relatives of Kaniesh Armster contacted police on Monday to report that she was missing. Police say her vehicle and personal belongings were not found at her apartment on Huntington Avenue on the east side of Kalamazoo Township, however her cell phone was.

The news article was quite concerning, stating that she takes multiple medications. I hope she turns up soon. I wonder if her medications are with her?

The family tells police that they last had contact with Kaniesh on January 22nd, although it appears she was at her apartment until at least the 27th.

Kaniesh had previously lived in the Lansing and Battle Creek areas and had only been at the apartment on Huntington Avenue for about three weeks.

Kaniesh is described as standing 5’4” tall, weighing 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She drives a silver 2012 Nissan Rouge SUV with Michigan plate DLQ7160.

Police said they received a call from someone who saw an SUV matching Kaniesh Armster, 30, Kalamazoo, at the Walmart on Gull Rd. at 11:30 p.m. Friday. When police investigated they found Armster dead inside the vehicle.

Police say there are no signs of foul play in her disappearance or in the death, but they are continuing to investigate."
