GUILTY MI - Kenneth White, 32, killed by rock dropped from overpass, 18 Oct 2017

I get the sense that some posters don't think justice will be served. Would anyone like to give their opinion on what kind of punishment be appropriate.

I am glad I am working from home these days. Although I am about 45 mins south of the Flint area, I was travelling to Detroit on 696 and 75 and always worried about my windshield. I had my passenger side window explode on my way to work in Detroit a few years ago. It scared me to no end. I checked to make sure it wasn't a bullet. After I parked, found it was probably a rock or something from a semi.

RIP Mr. White your family didn't deserve this. All because he was working to earn money for his family :(

I live in a smallish southern town and this exact thing happened to a friend of mine about 25 years ago. The rock hit her in the chest and she and her husband are lucky to be alive! LE did catch a couple of teens on an overpass shortly after the incident but they were never arrested.

No way are these perps going to go down for murder 2. MAYBE the thrower of the rock, but he's not going to serve life.

Been following this horrific story - ideally I'd love to see all 5 cancer curers convicted and in jail but I suspect only the one who threw the rock will get any time in the slammer.

How long would you like to see them in jail? tia

Mark Sekelsky's mother is Carrie Sekelsky, of the Clio School Board

Kind of ironic the boy's mother is on the school board.

MS' attorney (Frank Manley) was interviewed on Primetime Justice with Ashleigh Banfield (HLN). Called the perps "children" and said that all five shouldn't be charged the same since only one tossed the fatal rock. I've already predicted fireworks at the next hearing, and FM will be smack dab in the middle. Manley is a real piece of work.

Transcript from Primetime Justice with Ashleigh Banfield (HLN) 10/26/2017:

They thought it was a prank.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I just don`t understand how somebody could just go out like that and think it`s fun.

BANFIELD: Teen boys throwing rocks from an overpass.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: You`re playing Russian roulette with people`s lives.

BANFIELD: They even had a name for it, "dinging."

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: (INAUDIBLE) a good man and a good father (INAUDIBLE)!

BANFIELD: But now five kids are facing an adult murder rap...

Makes me want to puke to hear these criminals called "children".
They were old enough to know a thrown rock or other object at a vehicle on the interstate can KILL someone.

Prosecutor: Teens competent for trial in fatal rock-throwing on I-75 in Vienna Township

FLINT, Mich. - Three of five Michigan teens have been found competent to stand trial in the death of a man killed after a rock thrown from a freeway overpass crashed through a van's windshield.

Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton says the evaluations show Kyle Anger, Mark Sekelsky and Trevor Gray were mentally competent at the time of the incident and can understand their charges...
