DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old girl.Lakee Carter Photo

Lakee Carter was last seen by her mother on March 4, 2016 at approximately 7:40 a.m. at their home on the 6500 block of Whitewood, as she was leaving for school.

Lakee is described as a black female, 15 years old, 5’3″, 100 lbs., medium brown complexion with black hair. Lakee was last seen wearing a brown jacket, red shirt, black pants and black boots.

Lakee is in good physical and mental condition. She has ran away from home in the past.

If anyone has information or knows of Lakee’s whereabouts, they are asked to please call Detroit Police’s Criminal Investigative’s Unit at 313-596-1040.
