Police searching for man after vehicle found on fire this weekend

Lee Longmire, Jr., 38, was last seen Saturday. The car he was last seen driving was found on fire near the 100 block of W. Norton Avenue in Muskegon Heights around 11 p.m. the next day, Norton Shores police said in a release.

He is an African American man with brown eyes and black hair. He is 5'11 and 240 lbs. He was last seen wearing white Nike shoes, a black hooded sweatshirt, and a white t-shirt.

In that county he has a number of vehicle infractions, mostly license and registration issues. One case is open and he was a Failure to Appear with a subsequent warrant being issued, but it wasn't a charge that would likely have been any sort of jail time. Outside of the vehicular issues over the years, the only criminal charge in his county of residence was a home invasion 11 years ago for which he got probation.
