Mother questioned after boy, 9 months, found in trash bag
DETROIT Detroit police say an autopsy shows an infant found wrapped in a plastic trash bag in a basement was suffocated.
Now the mother of nine-month-old Malik O'Neal is being questioned.
Malik's body was found in the home of his paternal grandmother, where he and his mother had been living.
The grandmother says the baby's mother told her ten days ago that she had left the baby with a friend so she could get a break. She says the mother acted as if nothing was wrong.
