15-year-old Maria Gomez was last seen on Monday, Oct. 8 on Detroit's southwest side when her mother dropped her off at school to catch the bus. Maria's mother went to the High School at 9:15 a.m. to check on her and she never showed up for school. Maria is Hispanic, 5 feet tall, weighing 100 pounds and has blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a school uniform that included black pants and a burgundy polo shirt.

i find it all a bit strange, mum drops her at school to catch the bus (probably missed worded), but then goes back to check on her at school, at 9.15am?

Gomez was also reported missing on two separate occasions earlier this year, on June 22 and again on July 23.
