36-year-old Michael Treciak of Marshall has ties to the Jackson County area.

Police say he has missed several scheduled work shifts and is not responding to phone calls.

Treciak was last seen this past Monday evening, July 25, at around 6:00 p.m..

At the time he was wearing dark gray cargo shorts, a black t-shirt and white Nike shoes.

UPDATE: MPD has located Mr. Treciak and, unfortunately, he has died. MPD located him within City limits and have notified his family members. An official cause of death has not yet been determined and MPD is continuing to investigate with the Medical Examiner's Office. There is no threat to the public and there is no further information at this time.
