Yenly looks like a real pleasant guy. From the tattoos I would guess there may be some gang affiliation. How did this girl get mixed up with him? I hope that she is safe and that she wasn't hurt due to his relationships with unsavory people.
Ya think? Looks a little rough around the edges ;) I wonder how and when he got that nasty scar on his forehead. Time will tell if he was involved in Mollie's death.

I am so sorry to read this. He sounds like a very dangerous person. I hope he is caught before he hurts someone else. RIP Mollie. Prayers for her family…especially her children.

Looks like he is now considered a POI, and has previously served time for unlawful imprisonment. Just awful. (Source is the article posted above)

He has another active warrant out for his arrest on an unrelated charge. [snip] Garcia previously served prison time for an unlawful imprisonment conviction out of Grand Rapids in 2008. He was initially charged with kidnapping but pleaded down to the lesser charge and assault with a dangerous weapon. The Michigan Department of Corrections said he was paroled in the summer of 2016 and released from parole in October 2017.

Michigan State Police records show Garcia’s criminal history, which dates back to 2004, also includes convictions for drugs, domestic violence, larceny and retail fraud.

Sad story all the way around. First, that a 33 yo woman has 5 kids and needs to work as a dancer to support them. Then, that a man with a criminal dangerous history is walking among us. And so sad, that a sweet lil kindergartner starts her school year losing her mommy.

I hope Mollie has an extended family that can raise her children in a loving environment.

The body of a missing Plainfield Township woman has been found in Wyoming, Michigan, police said Wednesday.

Mollie Schmidt, 33, had been missing for nine days. Her body was found in an apartment in the 1500 block of 44 St. SW on Tuesday with a gunshot wound, Wyoming police Lt. Rory Allen said in a video of a media briefing posted by Wood-TV.

Ir sounds like she does, between her dad and her aunt.

I wonder how much of a head start YG had to get out of dodge? Mollie was last seen on August 21, and her body was found 10 days later. For all we know, Mollie could have been dead all that time, and YG could have been on the run since August 21. Since he has a previous charge of false imprisonment, maybe he held Mollie captive for a few days prior to her death. Still, he could be anywhere by now. Hoping that he is apprehended soon.

Court proceedings reveal a potential pattern of behavior...[snip] In the summer of 2008, Grand Rapids police officers were flagged down by someone saying they heard a woman screaming. Officers entered an abandoned home through a broken window. The probable cause affidavit says officers found Garcia in the basement of the home pointing a gun at a woman's head. The woman was handcuffed with duct tape over her eyes.

Oh goodness. Picture of him and Mollie posted in June. Looks like it was originally posted in March, and he captioned it: “You let me go and I replaced you right away, lol.”

Obviously he was bitter about “losing” her, despite the newer posts with his new “baby girl” - I can’t tell if it’s the same woman in the more recent posts, might be 2 different women?? I hope they are safe and not a part of this.

The family of a 33-year-old Plainfield Township woman whose body was found this week after she'd been missing for nine days said the mother of five was a strong person and a "ray of sunshine" who loved her children.

Mollie Schmidt "really was a very sweet person. She was very kind," said Lisa McGraw, Schmidt's aunt, on Friday. "We had a lot of family gatherings and she was always a little ray of sunshine."

Schmidt had been missing for nine days when her body was found Tuesday in an apartment in the 1500 block of 44 St. SW with a gunshot wound, Wyoming police Lt. Rory Allen said in a video of a media briefing posted by Wood-TV...

He didn't post that about replacing her. It was a comment from someone else.

No, on March 12th he posted the same picture and it’s what he himself wrote underneath it as the caption.
