Is the other child a sibling or different family?
If it is a different family they may just not being talking to the press?
Good questions. One of his siblings is 16yo and I am not sure how old the other sister is, but she is older than 8yo, IIRC. The mother and father didn't indicate the children were outside playing, but were at the apartment all afternoon until 3:30pm-3:45pm.

I am confused if the little girl who was supposed to be spending the night (mom said she had spent the night before) is the same one LE is stating told them another story.

Wanted to point out some conditions of GK's parole from a story on warrents nurse brought forward and mention something.

[Kennedy also was convicted of second-degree home invasion in March 2002 and sentenced to 2-15 years in prison. He was released April 30, 2003, and has a lengthy list of requirements to stay out of prison.

A Requirement

They include not entering into a romantic relationship with a person associated with a child; staying 1,000 feet from parks, schools, playgrounds and arcades; and that an adult be present if he is with a child 17 or younger, according to online records.]

Let me count the ways 'daddy george" was in violation. No let me just say several ways. Was he ever at the mama's apartment? If so, one can see the school playground from her window.

Profiling a second here: Never a child abduction locals can remember from this area? School and playground looks very close to the apartment building I believe she was in.

I'm almost positive LE is going to start looking into what made Nevaeh a victim as one phase of the investigation. Was it her mothers associations? Who did she associate with? qwim?

Google victimization and victimology for explanations. Why just Nevaeh, why not others?

Personally I think items belonging to Nevaeh (such as a tooth or hair brush) should have been seized as soon as she was reported missing, in order for any DNA found on them not to be degraded or as happened in some cases, for the items to be removed. After thinking about the ID more, it might be that the ME wants to spare the family the ordeal of having to see her remains as they are now. Another thing I was thinking of is there would've been an examination for sexual assault and perhaps they are waiting for DNA results on that and stalling the release of the body. MOO

They probably already grabbed a hairbrush for DNA. I think hair is the preferred comparison point just because it does not degrade as readily as say saliva on a toothbrush, plush it is easier to visually match to a child by color type etc, creating a stronger series of corraborating identification.

I am pretty sure they took the toy and toothbrush for fingerprint comparrison.

They seem to be going slow and steady, which makes me suspect that yes they are pretty convinced that the person they believe did this is not in a position to harm any other kids (ie locked up on parole violations). So they can quietly build a strong case. The public statements to the contrary are just to avoid declarring a suspect and having lawyers clamp down on the investigation. Everything about this seems to revolve around GK and his circle of gf's and fellow RSO's. Sorry but there are just to many smarmy coincidences to give too much credence to a complete stranger abduction.

I believe that the collected the toothbrush and toy to compare fingerprints. I am sure they already have her DNA since they used it to compare to the blood found.

If the toothbrush of any of my children when five years old got taken for evidence, it'd mainly be my fingerprints or their dad's on it, since five year olds are generally not able to brush their teeth real good everywhere and need an adult's help, says our dentist. But maybe Nevaeh brushed her own teeth.

There will be a video screen on the right.
Use the slide show to click to the right.
You will see one that is a close up of GK and the text in the mouseover says
suspect in Neveah case has an alibi.
I think she is lying about being with him all day. Even the reporter mentioned the reason he couldn't have done it is because she said he was with her. LOL She messed up twice there by saying she didn't think he was the type etc.

I'd appreciate it if anyone has any links with quotations from witnesses, etc., giving info about times on the day Nevaeh disappeared -- especially links to what any "POI's" were up to that day and any more versions of the story given by JB. I've got tons of posts to go through (I started at the beginning), and it's already just hinkey and crazy. Here's what I've got from what I've read so far (I've got a notepad list with a lot more links than are on this image, for reference.):

Notice the time between 3:45 and 6:00 is totally unaccounted for.

I'm thinking that if the child was never taken for a dental appointment that tooth brushing wasn't high on the priority list at her household.

my bold....I understand that this is a requirement of parole or whatever....that an RSO or SO must follow. Sounds beautiful, perfect and sounds like it should come wrapped in a shiny paper with a big bow......but who is keeping track of these people to make sure they are following these requirements? Parole officers? The system seems failed and it's time for a new one.

I can't get over the interview with JB where she said something about being the last person to see Nevaeh.

I noticed in Savannah's interview as well when she says that she knows exactly what fishing knife they are talking about, she is nodding her head. Then when she says it "has to be his blood or fish guts" she is shaking her head no.

It could mean her teeth were very healthy and the reason she had no x-rays taken in the past. ;)

Just peeking in here from work. The article states that only a few places sell 90 lb bags, and Kuhlman's happens to be one of them.

http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/19662141/detail.html
Thanks for clarifying! ;) I still think it's more than coincidental that one of the places is next to where he lived, along with the other information we already know about him and him being a so-called "father figure" to Nevaeh. MOO

I'll kind of give them the benefit of the doubt on this one since she was only 5 y/o and still having & losing her baby teeth. Dental care isn't cheap either, even with insurance. And from the photos we've seen of Nevaeh, she did look cared for. MOO

Not having xrays is not the same as never seeing a dentist, but I wouldn't be surprised if she hadn't seen one. When I worked in the field though I want to say I remember filling out headstart paperwork, don't they require a dental visit?

At five her teeth couldn't have been healthy if she had never been to the dentist...lol. Pediatricians advise to see a dentist for cleaning between 18 months and 2 years. In my opinion she was 3 years late, but I am sure LE has gotten records from Nevaeh's pediatrician and dentist if there was one. Her teeth looked okay in the pictures I have seen course we can't really tell from pictures huh?

I missed so much today! Trying to catch up, someone please correct me if I misunderstood any of this or if it is rumor rather than fact:

1) A beer can found in the grave was traced back to a local store.
2) No trauma to the body, Nevaeh was not stabbed
3) A fire pit found near the site, which may or may not be related to the perps, contained a partially burned surgical glove
4) The fence at the cement yard was recently cut
5) Nevaeh was found unclothed and her shirt found near where she was buried
6) LE returned to the apartment looking for Nevaeh's fingerprints
7) An empty 90 lb cement bag was found - could have come from the cement yard behind Kennedy's motel.

Did I miss anything else? I wonder, since they already have Nevaeh's DNA, if they are trying to compare her fingerprints to some found inside a vehicle...but then they could probably get them directly from the body, right?

Here in California it is required that a child have a dental screening before they can enter Kindergarten. Most dentist's don't see children until they are 4 or 5, unless there is some noticable decay or tooth pain.

Taking xrays on kids 5 and under can be very difficult depending on the child. In our office we wouldn't do anything that really flipped them out in an effort to not create a dental phobia. We would only press the xray issue if we were trying to diagnosis a cause of pain or diagnosis visible trauma to a tooth... but in all honesty once you got to a crier or a screamer in that situation a pedio referral was the usual route.

The ADA recommends going earlier than that but it is usually just a ride in the chair get use to the environment kind of a visit. If your kid has never been in a dentist chair and they have the misfortune of their first visit being because of pain or injury it is a horrible introduction to a new scary environment where people want to stick sharp instruments and drills in your mouth.
