For the moment I'm going to toss the alibis out and also disregard anything JB has said about the timeline. IMO, anyone who pays 600.00 a month in rent for an RSO is certainly capable about lying for them. And JB, well I doubt she saw her kid anytime after the Kmart, if they in fact went to Kmart, and she's just flat out embarrassed to admit she didn't keep track of her kid. Or she's the one responsible and lying for that reason.

I think it's likely that Nevaeh was gone and buried by the time she was reported missing.

Also, who says the people providing the alibi(s) passed a poly? Did that come from LE or those people? If it came from those people....well toss that out as reliable as well.

I posted this earlier, i'll find the link if needed...

~snipped~
Kennedy said he had traded his Ford Thunderbird to Smith for his nephew's GMC van. He said he parked the van May 22 — two days before Nevaeh vanished — at the home of his girlfriend's mother on North Monroe Street after state troopers cited him for driving it without a valid registration.

And I do remember either Kennedy or Smith (I think it was Kennedy) had relatives who loved just across from where Navaeh's body was recovered. Anyone else remember that?

Very interesting clip.
They said that they are waiting for a time of death and that several POI's have alibi's for the window she was reported missing in BUT if the time of death is hours earlier than they will be comparing phone records.

This is very in keeping with several of the theories here.

This is going to hinge very tightly on stomach contents in my opinion. They have a credible statement from two independent adults in the investigation who were very clear that they fed her lunch right before she left at 3:30 with her mother.

----------
I'm wondering if the POI are using each other as alibis. At this time, I'm not believing any of them including Savannah and Jennifer.

I don't think they can pinpoint time of death to the hour? I just wish we had the stories atleast somewhat straight. I know we heard that GK was fishing earlier that day. Was he? and if so with whom? and where was he fishing? Did he say he was fishing or did someone else say he had been fishing? Does anyone have a link to the fishing tale?

If we assume that Nevaeh disappeared earlier than what was reported, we can go back as early as about 3:30 when the upstairs neighbor said she left his apartment. Whether or not Jennifer and Nevaeh actually went to KMart after that seems to be unproven at this point. We would also have to assume that no one saw Nevaeh after 3:30 and that the story of a child telling on her for riding in the street either happened earlier or not at all. That leaves the time from 3:30 to 7:15 for George to snatch Nevaeh, harm or kill her, and bury the body. Two witnesses who took polygraphs give him an alibi from 4 to 7. Apparently he also has an alibi (people he drove, getting gas, etc.) after 7.

In order for him to be the perp, George, Savannah, Savannah's mother (I'm assuming), and Jennifer would all have to be lying and be able to fool a lie detector test. I'm not buying it.

I have not seen where the police say anyone passed a lie detector. I have seen JB say she missed one question, but that is JB saying that, and it sounds like a preemptive move on her part to explain away failing the test, oh I failed one question but I was tired. They don't give you a grade on your way out. I doubt George took one, he was arrested the same night, this is not his first rodeo, he knows he doesn't have to take one, and Savannah I don't know about.

Stomach contents are the best way to tell time of death and in this case we know exactly what she ate and when thanks to the neighbors being the ones that fed her. We are only working within a 5 hour time line so there will be a definite indicator of whether she died one hour after she ate or five hours later.

GMTA! If computer usage can be used as evidence against you, it can also be used as an alibi!! ;)

You guys are spot-on with the use of computers for an alibi....except for us WS'ers!!!! I can't EVEN begin to imagine what a "forensic" analysis of my computer would reveal!!! It would appear that I had been trying to "suffocate, strangle, poison, bury, murder, destroy body, pedophile, drown, behead, and hide evidence"!!!! Those are pretty much terms that have been searched on my computer because of cases here and other places on the net!!!! I love all of you other people here who "get it".....because my family doesn't! I just finished watching Amber's Story on TV. I want a job hunting down pedophiles. I really, truly, honestly do!!!!!! I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. Sorry for the long post - 'nuff said.

I came into this case just a few days ago . . . but let me see if I know the facts:

1. Nevaeh goes missing while she is allowed to play outside by herself with no supervision.

2. Her mother has sex offender friends.

3. Her mother calls a radio show to defend her decision to have sex offender friends -- not to beg for the return of her daughter.

4. They have a 🤬🤬🤬 in custody who was a "Father Figure" to Naveah but was also a sex offender who shouldn't have been within 300 miles of this little girl.

5. The police found pictures of young girls in his hotel room.

Did I pretty much sum it up?

Excuse me if I'm not politically correct here -- but this "mother" needs to be locked up FOREVER with the person who did this.

Putting your children in danger like this is UNACCEPTABLE behavior. Being a parent is not a game. In today's world you cannot leave your children unattended for ONE SECOND.

This little girl never stood a chance with a horrible parent like this.

God Bless Nevaeh

I don't have links, but this is what I tracked down the other day regarding the fishing tale. The Freep reported it linking back to an article in the Toledo Blade. When you clicked on that article there is no mention of a fishing trip. IIRC, Savannah has referred to fishing regarding the knife incident a couple of days before Nevaeh went missing.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong or have more correct info.

You are so right! I forgot about that. Thanks

Is there evidence of Nevaeh being at K-Mart with her mother??? I think that would be very important since we have her best friend saying that is where she was going with JB after leaving his home.

Ok, I have looked at the videos showing the steep hill going straight down to the river and the reporters wondering how someone could lug a body and a 90 lb. bag of concrete down the embankment. Well, if I was going to have to transport the bag of concrete, I would just push it over the embankment and let it slide to the bottom. There appears from the video, no trees, or bushes between the road right of way and the bottom of the hill up to the river bank. Just a pathway, cleared from brush. The concrete bags are really tough and could easily stand the short slide from the roadside to the river bank. Regarding the body. As bad as this sounds, if the body was too heavy, you could also put it on the ground and push it with your foot down the hill. Believe me, the 🤬🤬🤬 would not worry about "hurting" the little girl. To me, there isn't any mystery as to how the body and the bag of concrete made it down the hill. With a bad back, being only 5'3" I am always having to find alternate means to get something heavy to the place I want it to be. This is what I would have done to get both down this hill.

Great information. This has me curious, LE has openly stated that they have looked at three SO's in the area, but have not said anything about looking at any others. This is what makes me think they have not totally ruled out the two SO's in custody, there has been no talk of other suspects being questioned. Or maybe they are just keeping things quiet ?

They said early in the investigation that all the RSO's in the area had been contacted (normal operating procedure) and that every apartment had been searched (everyone was willing to allow them in). I think their focus narrowed on the three, GK, RS and Easter. Easter says that he was at Kmart that afternoon and they really drilled him about that, that he saw her there and followed her home. That is as close as we have come to confirmation that Neveah was at Kmart, I don't know if that was based of tapes or if it was based on JB's statement to them, so it could go either way.

The registered sex offender who many believe is a prime suspect in the disappearance of 5-year-old Nevaeh Buchanan has two solid alibis who told investigators that he was with them at the time the girl vanished, sources told The Evening News.
George Kennedy, 39, is in the Monroe County jail on a probation violation. He was not referred to as a suspect by police hierarchy but instead was called a person of interest.
It now appears that it he might not be involved with the girl's abduction. In fact, two other people who were considered persons of interest in the case have been cleared.
"We're back to square one," the source said.
According to those close to the investigation, Nevaeh came up missing from the parking lot of her apartment at Charlotte Arms between 6 and 6:15 p.m. Two people said Mr. Kennedy was with them between 4 and 7 p.m. They also passed polygraph tests.

I don't think it's helpful to simply disregard information in order to make a theory fit.

I don't think that fishing spot looks steep at all. It's pretty typical of what I've had to haul ice chests, a full back pack and a couple of folding campchairs over my shoulders down and back up. A bunch of kids excited to go fishing aren't to helpful hauling stuff. lol. Come to think of it, I've taken a spill or two drawing blood.....

Why haven't I seen you posting here more often??? Pure genius!!! High five, my friend! I totally agree. Plus, don't forget to add in the factor of adrenalin, alcohol, and/or drugs!!!

I've been thinking, and even though I am local-ish, I can't remember what the weather was like in that part of the state when Nevaeh went missing. It just makes me wonder if there was any way that the cement could have been put at the river a couple days before she was killed. Would there have been any way that it could have been kept dry, until the perp was ready to use it?
If the cememnt could have been stored there for a couple days, then I would feel a lot more comfortable with the idea that there was only one person directly responsible for Nevaeh's death.

I am not disregarding it, I am looking for verification of the claim. We have seen multiple things claimed by reporters that turned out to be false and were just reported too quickly, or exaggerated. Half of the news accounts conflict with each other on the same items, sometimes in the same article.

I don't guess we can take anything as fact unless it comes from LE. The problem with that is we don't have much from LE, yet.

I think it all hinges on a credible witness as to the last time Nevaeh was actually seen. If it was as late as 6:15, there's no way that George could be the culprit.

Every media account that I've heard so far has never stated anything earlier than 6:15PM (and a couple have stated 8:15PM as time last seen - :bang:)

Monday, May 25th -
Article states that Nevaeh was last seen on May 24th around 6:30 PM and was wearing blue jean shorts with no shoes or socks.
