Does it seem odd to anyone else that the block was left on the side of the water, rather than pushed into the water. Good grief, they would have never found her in the water. Well, maybe not never, but not for a very long time.
Somethings wrong with this picture.

Not really. When we used Ready Mix to secure our fence posts, we dug holes and poured the mix in dry. Then we filled the hole with water from the hose. If someone dug a shallow grave, placed the body inside, and filled it with dry concrete mix, they could have poured buckets of water from the river over the top. I wonder if this is an area where cement companies dump left over concrete. If so, the perp might have expected that no one would pay too much attention.

I'm really ticked too. And sickened. And full of hate and rage. This mother said in an interview aired on Nancy Grace that she didn't want to be judgmental about her perve boyfriend. Too bad no one taught her that there are way worse things than being judgmental and two of them are being stupid and naive about sex offenders! What a poor excuse for a mom.

Did you hear the mother on Nancy Grace tonight (earlier interview with mother) where she said:

I wake up every morning and think about her

I go to sleep every night thinking about her

this really bothers me

Uh, this "bothers you". HELLO! Your child is missing and this bothers you???? I'm sorry, but I just want to throttle her! She's not a mother by any means....I don't know what she is.

If it's true that the body is encased in cement, like Scott Peterson, there will be traces left behind. They can link that cement back...somehow. You just don't encase a body in cement (it can't be that easy).

Thanks for letting me rant. I'm just shaking over here!

Mel

I think it would be weeks before I would even be able to speak to the press without crying or throwing up.

what about quick setting cement?
----------
You are right. A high early additive could have been used and the concrete would have cured much earlier than regular concrete.

  • #865
Cement takes quite a while to set up. Someone was holding her somewhere, either alive or dead, for at least a few days after she disappeared. That would seem to rule out the two RSO's that were first arrested, as they were in jail.

Unless they were letting it set near the river planning on returning to dump in the river after it set, but they were arrested to soon. JMO

How sad! I was so furious about this dimwit mother that I stayed away and tried to keep my comments to myself for awhile, but now I am just furious again. How long was it from the time the mother called her SO bf George to alert him Nevaeh was missing until the cops spoke to him?? Where was he fishing that day with his brother?? Just thinking.

I too am watching Nancy's show. I don't know how Marc does it either and bless him for his strength.

My prayers for Shane, Nevaeh's father, who must be heartbroken right now.

Marc does it all for Polly:blowkiss:

Horrible news.
May she rest in peace :rose:

As Nancy would say the search for Nevaeh has come to an end but the search for the justice continues.

(btw my first post, hi everyone)

Poor little Nevaeh! She did not deserve this!

The only good thing about the cement is that it may have helped to preserve more of the DNA evidence.

Fisherman father and son team saw concrete lump at river's edge. It smelled really bad, teen scraped off some cement and saw skin. Inside the concrete encasement is Neveah.

Nice. Another innocent baby girl murdered because no one was watching her.

I'm guessing that Kennedy was watched constantly by LE almost from the time that Nevaeh was reported missing. I don't think he's our perp.

It must have been a thin coating of concrete. I'm sticking with my Ready Mix theory.

One account we read was quoting a teenager as saying that his Dad and grandfather were fishing this morning, there was smelly concrete, and his Dad scraped some of the concrete away and saw skin.

This reminds me of Scott/Laci Peterson.

#1 cement
#2 saying he was "fishing" then body being found in/near water.

There's quik set and Por/Rock. Quik set is a casting plaster and Por/Rock or Rockite sets very fast and has concrete already in it. Sets up in 20min. and steadily stronger over time.

These/this sick SOB!

RIP Navaeh.

Mothers are suppose to be judgmental about whom/who they allow around their children... it's called keeping the child safe. I feel your rage Sal... that so-called mother has failed Nevaeh, greatly. :(

Like someone had mentioned earlier, set up time for cement...maybe they were waiting for the cement to set up and harden and then push it into the river. How did they know she was wearing similar clothing as Nevaeh if she was in cement? As reported on NG?
-------
This information makes me thing that the murderer did not know anything about the curing time for concrete. Evidently the concrete did not cure long enough if there is a clump of hair and LE can visually see the clothing on the body. Parts of the concrete must have fallen off.

Yes, but now I really would like to know where he was fishing??
