Why a backhoe? She weighed 45 lbs. and was a bit over 3 ft. tall. The cement probably wouldn't weigh more than 50 lbs. They had several people on the scene.

I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner - I've been walking up and down N Custer Rd trying to find the spot where exactly they found Neveah's body. (on google map/street level that is) It's a video report - Video box to the right and at 4:40 (near the end) the reporter begins talking about GK . . .

Concrete is not a sticky substance, once cracked it wouldn't adhere to the skin. I'm guessing that they had to remove quite a bit of it to lift her body out of the grave. I hadn't heard the report that there was no blunt trauma but, again guessing, any severe trauma would probably be immediately visible once the body was exposed. Haven't heard any time frame for the autopsy but I imagine it will be done ASAP. Could be happening even now.

A poster at the MT site who claims to be close to the family said her body was taken to the FBI lab in Detroit tonight.

Not so much because of the weight but because of the size. I can't imagine any other way they could get underneath and scoop everything up in one piece.

They literally dig it out by hand (with shovels), Chilly. They start a distance away from the actual concrete and dig it out dirt and all in order to keep evidence intact.

My 22 years experience in lumberyards country wide has come out. 5 were computer expert. Not kidding. Now 10 years as a contractor. One lesson I have learned is there are three names always for about the same product. Always remembered that one lesson. I know Portland!

I wonder who the ME is. He/she will have quite a task at hand doing a forensic work-up of every piece or crumble of concrete, everything in the dirt, etc. I wonder if the perp gave a heave ho with the bucket and it is in the woods nearby? I doubt he would toss that in the river.

And yes, it is a very sad case, unbelievable what one demented person thinks he has a right to do with someone else's life, and then with their remains.

When did GK show up with JB that evening? The only timeline we have for Nevaeh is from the neighbor, Aaron Baker and her meal at 3:30pm. She wasn't reported missing until 8:15pm which leaves a lot of time in between. The "20 minutes later" from JB started when?

I really want to know why Nevaeh changed her cloths after she left this mans house! Did she spill something on herself? Did she wet her cloths? Did someone in that house mess with her? This is really raising my hinky meter.

im sure that LE will be able to tell if the perp placed her body there by the water and then poured the concrete over her....and then perhaps he was going to come back and put her in the river.....they will be able to see how the concrete layed out around her if that is the case....or if she was put into something and then the concrete was poured and then she was moved to the water bank....i think the first one sounds more like it...why leave the body beside the water and not in it....

so, so very sad and very upsetting....hubby doesnt even follow all of this stuff...and he is very upset tonight....

Kat, do you know when LE first picked up GK? I read something yesterday that someone gave him a ride to the motel and LE was waiting for him, took him into custody.

I wonder who drove him there? Also, someone at Monroe Talks mentioned if the timeline is right and he was arrested right away, maybe Smith was the one who did the disposal for him. Nah, that doesn't sound logical unless Smith was a party to killing her.

I think SS is pretty much right on it here and that river side could have been the crime scene; a bit of panic set in, realized he had a bag of Quik Set in the back end of the truck, a pail and a shovel too, worked hurridly so he wouldn't get caught, river water in the pail, add mix and stir with a stick . .

It could have been premeditated, or he could have left her there and come back right away with these things, before it was out there she was missing. IMO ????

I wonder if that is how she was lured. Did GK show up and say, "hey, I just talked to your mom and she said you could go fishing with me." Something made this little girl go along without drawing anyone's attention.

agreed... what's the deal with this guy commented on his wifes myspace that he loves aaron forever stuff... no mention of a wife only his kids and that they are his life are they his wife's kids or the ex's my first impression he is telling her what he would like to see her myspace expressing...
first impression he is in severe control of this marriage and he is very submissive to him.. don't want to get into why i think that but that is my first impression

I want to know why she was running around barefoot. I understand it was still pretty chilly that weekend. Moot point, sure, but makes me angry and is more evidence of the mother's neglect. I wonder if she would've eaten at all that day if the neighbors hadn't fed her. :furious:

It's possible he was prepared with the pot of cement mix, a pail and a shovel. Hmmm Maybe he always carried it in his truck if he did handyman type work. I don't know.

But in that video did you see the drop down from Custer Rd to the river edge? There was something white down by the water and wonder what that was? I think she was found up above where the hazmet type uni'ed ME personell were working, right?

I have to go pull some info but did the police say that the blood in GK's room was not Neveah's or was that only repeated by reporters?

The letter and the rumors about what it offered concern me, it was definitely an idea that JB had bouncing around in her head. Did GK take her that afternoon and she made so much noise he killed her? Suffocated her? He ends up burying her by the river, pouring concrete over the body and JB puts together this kidnapping story?

JB has been off since the beginning.
Way overly concerned with GK and whether he would hold this against her.
The blood in the room.
The toys in the room.
The photos in his room.
Why was his vehicle at the other SO's house, did he help GK bury her or did he get van clean up duty.

The timeline troubles me and I would like to see video of a live Neveah that day, anywhere, on a security cam. I guess five hours is long enough but it doesn't feel right to me, too many players involved, though that might explain why GK's room wasn't cleaned.

The mother should be charged with much more than endangerment. If you are driving the getaway car when a robbery turns into a homicide they charge you with the exact same crimes. Whatever he faces , she should be right there with him.

Pretty well accepted it???? That's normal. YOur daughter goes missing for 11 days, 7 hours after a body is found and before the official notification, you've already "accepted it"? WTH?
