So at age 19 he was able hide two bodies that have never been found, but at age 32 he dumps a girl's body in a ditch and doesn't try to hide her at all. I would be surprised if this is the same killer.

Sometimes, killers get lucky. Sadly, it happens.

The set up and circumstances under which he lured girls to their deaths are very similar. Girls going to parties and events on Halloween - it seems possible there were bands there.
