Just the other day both of them were quoted in the probable cause affidavit as saying that Rebecca and her sister didn’t like BB. Given this family’s bizarre romance wreath I’m inclined to believe Cortney just came up with the idea that BB was the father thinking it would make him seem more like the aggressor and get her off easy.

Now, is there any way they can test the paternity without finding the baby’s body? Perhaps enough of his DNA was still in Rebecca’s womb.

I think it’s possible BB is actually the father.

I think with this cast of characters ANYTHING is possible. I lean towards CB made that up as a reason for BM being the instigator of this nightmare, but yes, ME should be able to determine baby's parentage from Becca's remains.

I truly hate this case and the woman I feel is behind this whole thing.

I think she’s behind it also in every aspect . I don’t think it matters if he is the dna. I just think it’s a possibility with everything going on. Heck. Could see CB pushing it on purpose so she could have his baby after R was gone

Agreed on CB probably pulling this out of her rear end to make it look like BB had the motive… but it’s also possible BB raped RP and that attack is the reason both daughters wouldn’t agree to be in the same room with him. MOO

Or perhaps Cortney made up the fact that the girls hated BM and the they won't be around him rule was created and enforced by herself because she appears to be very jealous of both her biological daughters.

With so much word vomit from the players in this sick drama, it's hard to remember who has said what about whom, and how those things evolved over time.

I don't believe one word from Cortney unless it's backed up with evidence LE has found. She is a habitual liar, imo.

I think she made it up. To hide her motive, which was to claim the baby as her own. Which was the whole point of what they did. They just absolutely butchered that C-section, resulting in two deaths, none sursprising.

They don’t give solitary just because a prisoner requests it.

I believe she would be placed in Protective Custody for her own protection. Which I think is a shame, put her in General Pop and let them do with her as they please.

We've had cases where pregnant women were murdered for their babies, but I can't think of one that is as horrifying and convoluted as this one. So many villians! IMO

I was also thinking this, or miracle grow, i googled blue stomach contents during autopsy and got a little blurp about copper sulfate, which is in miracle gro, I don't know what their intentions in poisoning her if wanted to retrieve The fetus, but like many here their wackadoodle actions and comments are hard for anyone too make sense of. Someone up thread said she made a voice recording commenting on her lasagna tasting funny? Tho, when another poster mentioned the chalky substance might be antacids like tums that made total sense. Not sure why else CB and BB kept mentioning the tide pods unless they were trying to explain away their phones locations?

Makes me wonder who is the father of her sister’s child, who was also involved with RF at one point. Does anyone know if he is the father of RP’s other two children in the care of the Parks?

On another note, working for DCS previously in a different state, if children have been previously removed and rights terminated, it used to be an automatic removal of any subsequent children at birth from the hospital (once discharged). Or detecting any substances in the baby’s meconium used to lead to removal at birth, especially if there was a TPR (involuntary termination of rights). I don’t know if that’s the case anymore but I believe RP had this fear of the child being removed by DCS upon discharge and had mentioned it previously. Part of me wonders if CB played on her fears with this factor. Just speculation, but what if she talked her into inducing labor at home with some weird substance she concocted off the internet (blue chalky) and it did not work. All with the plans of taking that baby for herself. I know it has been mentioned in news reports that CB wanted RP’s other children placed in her care before and was angry they were placed with the Parks. When things didn’t work out with labor induction, did she decide to do the extreme with the botched C section against RP’s will?

Normally, I would say my theory sounds nuts but with these people, anything is possible.
