by Gina Damron 2:25 PM

Mostek: "Extremely tired, defeated," he said of how Cipriano looked at that point.
by Gina Damron 2:25 PM

Mostek: He had a conversation with Cipriano. Mostek went into the house and retrieved a black shirt with white stripes. Mostek kept that shirt and placed it into evidence.
by Gina Damron 2:24 PM

Mostek: After searching Cipriano, they cleared the house to make sure no one else was inside. Cipriano was lying on the lawn. Mostek picked him up.
by Gina Damron 2:23 PM

Images of Cipriano, shirtless, are being shown in court. One shows a series of cuts on his left lower back.
by Gina Damron 2:22 PM

Mostek: Cipriano "he had a disheveled, grubby appearance to him." Cipriano was not uncooperative. He was sullen.
by Gina Damron 2:21 PM

Mostek: Cipriano also had two credit union cards with account numbers on them and an ATM check card.
by Gina Damron 2:20 PM

Mostek: Everything was removed from Cipriano's pockets, including a cell phone and a pack of cigarettes.
by Gina Damron 2:19 PM

Mostek: Cipriano came out and was ordered to the ground. He was taken into custody. At that point, he was searched. Cipriano was wearing jeans, no shirt, shoes or socks.
by Gina Damron 2:18 PM

Mostek: Police surrounded the house and ordered Cipriano to come out.
by Gina Damron 2:17 PM

Mostek: Police have the address where Cipriano is located.
by Gina Damron 2:16 PM

Mostek: Zinderman had latex gloves in the pocket of his pants.
by Gina Damron 2:16 PM

Mostek: Zinderman and the teen girl were taken into custody and taken to the Keego Harbor police station.
by Gina Damron 2:15 PM

Mostek: He said Cipriano had killed someone and that Zinderman needed to tell him where he was. Zinderman said he hadn't seen Cipriano in a month. Finally Zinderman stated that Cipriano was at their friends' home nearby.
by Gina Damron 2:15 PM

Mostek: Asked Zinderman why he was at this truck. He said he bought the truck off of a guy for $100. Mostek told him he was lying.
by Gina Damron 2:14 PM

Mostek: Zinderman placed his hands on the vehicle. Mostek holstered his weapon and then put Zinderman on the ground.
by Gina Damron 2:12 PM

Mostek: At that point, he's being ordered. I'm yelling on him to put his hands on the vehicle.
by Gina Damron 2:12 PM

Mostek: He drew his weapon and ordered Zinderman to stop what he was doing.
by Gina Damron 2:11 PM

Mostek: "My assumption is they are armed and dangerous at that point."
by Gina Damron 2:11 PM

Mostek: He and another officer pulled up and immediately made contact with Zinderman and the teen girl.
by Gina Damron 2:10 PM

Mostek: At about 8:10 a.m., they saw two subjects, a female and male, walk to the truck. Once they got there, Zinderman got into the driver's side. The teen got into the passenger side.
by Gina Damron 2:10 PM

Back to testimony, Mostek said police were watching the truck in the apartment parking lot. They had it under surveillance.
by Gina Damron 2:09 PM

Mostek: About 10 to 12 police officers from two different units arrived to that area. He saw the truck they were searching for parked in an apartment complex.

by Gina Damron 2:05 PM

The cell phone, earlier testimony indicated, belonged to Young.
by Gina Damron 2:05 PM

READ FROM THE BOTTOM UP

Court is in recess. The trial will resume Wednesday afternoon.
by Gina Damron 4:04 PM

Crooker: She did not identify Young's print to any of the latent prints.
by Gina Damron 3:56 PM

McCarthy is cross examining Crooker.
by Gina Damron 3:55 PM

Crooker: She does not know which pane the print was taken from or whether it was from the upper or lower part of the window.
by Gina Damron 3:54 PM

Crooker: Found there were two prints on the window pane of comparison value. The prints were made by Tucker Cipriano.
by Gina Damron 3:53 PM

Crooker: Gloves also impact whether a print can be pulled from an object.
by Gina Damron 3:52 PM

Crooker: Twisting or sliding can distort a print.
by Gina Damron 3:51 PM

Crooker: Heavy pressure or a lot of force can impact the prints. Twisting or sliding can also have an effect.
by Gina Damron 3:51 PM

Crooker testified she was given a pry bar, window screen, screwdriver, s safe with a key in it, a baseball bat, softball bat, a broken BB gun and a knife. She said she did not recover any prints with comparison value from those objects.

Crooker: At some point during the comparison stage, she will make a determination whether they were from the same person.
by Gina Damron 3:45 PM

Crooker: She compares latent prints to known prints.
by Gina Damron 3:43 PM

Crooker: During the analysis, she looks for print ridge flow, ridge path and ridge shape.
by Gina Damron 3:40 PM

Crooker: She examined fingerprints and palm prints.
by Gina Damron 3:39 PM

Amanda Crooker, a latent print examiner with the Michigan State Police, is testifying.

Queen Bee, I agree this is a very horrible and sad case, but I find it fascinating as well.
It's not like Cipriano came from a bad home life.
I haven't heard anything about Young's.
Zinderman testified last week that both his parents are professionals.
So why do these kids think life at home is so bad.

I can't for the life of me, imagine ever hurting my family members or a friend's family members, like Cipriano and Young did.
Well let's be honest, I can't imagine hurting anyone.

It is a breath of fresh air to watch both sides and the judge being professional.

Correct, no court until Wed afternoon according to Gina from the Detroit Free Press.

I forgot to mention I was watching a marathon of Beyond Scared Straight episodes this weekend.
Two of the episodes were at the Oakland County Jail, one of the male section, one of the female section.

Cipriano and Young are being held at the Oakland County Jail.

So if anyone is interested in where they are being held, I'll post links to the episodes.

Beyond Scared Straight Season 2, Ep. 2 "Oakland County, MI"

Oakland County, Michigan is a stone's throw from Detroit's infamous 8-Mile and the streets here are just as tough - but the deputies and inmates who run Oakland County Jail's "Turn-Around" program are even tougher. They are physical, vocal and in-your-face. They may have met their match in Brandon, a drug-dealing teen who proves himself with his fists.

Beyond Scared Straight Season 2, Ep. 11 "Oakland County, MI (Girls)"

Outside Detroit, a teen trio of female troublemakers discovers their bond is not tight enough to survive even a day inside a women's lockup.
