Robert James Brunsden, 88, walked away from the Franklin Terrace Memory Care Facility at 26962 Franklin Rd. around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. Brunsden is 5-feet-8, 130 pounds with long white hair, blue eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a khaki windbreaker jacket, blue jeans and brown slippers.

Unfortunately, the Southfield PD (MI) on FB does not have a post about Robert being missing:

But, considering their site is mostly a PR site, I wasn't surprised--just disappointed. It is mostly locals that read the LE pages, and that is the best audience for responding to the information about missing people in cases like this.

Flint is not a good place for vulnerable elderly people. Hope he has friends there or is from there. Prayers for his safety tonite. MOO

Wonder if he had a plan to go somewhere specific that he thought was safe, or just didn't like this facility and left. It must be terribly hard for a proud man to settle in to a setting like that, if ( and no reflection on the staff) the opportunity presented itself to just walk away. Haven't seen how long he'd been residing there. Anyone else ? TIA
