Robert James Brunsden, 88, walked away from the Franklin Terrace Memory Care Facility at 26962 Franklin Rd. around 6:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. Brunsden is 5-feet-8, 130 pounds with long white hair, blue eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a khaki windbreaker jacket, blue jeans and brown slippers.

Wonder if he had a plan to go somewhere specific that he thought was safe, or just didn't like this facility and left. It must be terribly hard for a proud man to settle in to a setting like that, if ( and no reflection on the staff) the opportunity presented itself to just walk away. Haven't seen how long he'd been residing there. Anyone else ? TIA

Body of missing 88-year-old with dementia, Alzheimer's found in Southfield
The body of 88-year-old Robert James Brunsden Sr. was found Sunday afternoon in a river in Southfield near Telegraph, his family confirmed on Facebook.

"It is with a heavy heart that I must report to you that early this afternoon my father's body was recovered," wrote Brunsden's son Bob on the Facebook group "Help us find Bob Brunsden Sr."
