According to a Facebook post, Ronald’s family submitted DNA for comparison to the Luce County John Doe case from 1987. It appears to be a possible match. Ron was last seen wearing camouflage clotj, and the John Doe was found wearing camouflage cloth. Both individuals also had implanted rods. Ron went missing in 1986 from Big Rapids, Michigan, and the John Doe was found in 1987 in McMillan Township, Michigan
