Darn...no more drama today? Where's Conyers? Hey one of you who lives there go find her and confront her where there are cameras. I just want to see the looney loose it again. It's funny. :D

Just as something smutty, have ya'll noticed that the whole Kilpatrick story is starting to hit the national level ... more and more papers outside of Michigan are covering the story. The BIG turning point was Conyer's outburst. I guess when you have someone like her supporting you, who needs enemies?

LOL

Police officers and fire fighters who were on the clock were being told to pass out Kwame packets to residents of Detroit (door to door). They showed the firemen driving a fire truck, and police in uniform walking door to door putting these packets on door knobs. Good to see the city dollars being used in a good way. There is so little (sarcasm) crime in the city of Detroit, glad they had something to do to pass their time.

Why am I even suprised by this stuff anymore.

I ask myself the same question. Why, when they are being scrutinized closely do they do such obviously stupid things?

First thing I thought was maybe the police department is going to get the TVs back if they hand out the package.

Then I thought, who in the heck is paying for all those materials, and labor? The taxpayer of course!

Finally, I realized Kwame is nuts if he thinks that any of this is going to make a difference.

As lawyers argue over disqualifying judges at the 36th District Court from Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's trial, Action News investigator Heather Catallo has found several judges have donated money to “Team Kilpatrick.”

We have uncovered records that show… judges and employees at the 36th District Court have given money to the mayor’s re-election effort – as well as to his mother’s campaign. (more at link)

I had to pick my jaw of the ground before I could post this one.

This are Kilpatrick's comments regarding the Rev. Wright scandal.

http://www.mlive.com/newsflash/index.ssf?/base/news-52/120852327710780.xml&storylist=newsmichigan

But Patterson's stinging criticism of Wright brought and equally strong response from Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick who said Wright should be judged by his 36-year career, not those remarks.

"I've been to his church. I've heard numerous amounts of his speeches," Kilpatrick said. "I think he's probably one of the greatest orators to walk this earth. If he says something to offend people, he apologizes.
......
Despite his leap to Wright's defense Friday, Kilpatrick, himself, has been accused of using race in his efforts to reach Detroit voters.

During his March 11 State of the City address, Kilpatrick used a racial slur to describe threats he and his family began receiving after the Detroit Free Press published excerpts of sexually explicit text messages left on Beatty's city-issued pager.

At the below thread a Detroit LE officer was just arrested for putting a hit on his wife. The hitman was arrested and made the confession that he's a hitman for hire and has killed 10 people. Tamara Greene came to mind.

Wouldn't that be a complete kick in the pants! It's hard to fathom a police officer hiring a hit man to kill his wife ... and like you I'm wondering what other hits this guy has taken.
