OMG I am a local (within 15 mins or less of Morenci, Mi and even i had not heard this report about the message the father left on FB!!! I only heard that he had left a disturbing message, but never heard the context until I read here. Oh wow, this is so sad. They are searching a park not far from where I live right now, been there all day as far as I know. I was wondering why they were focusing in on that park, it makes more sense now with the father posting that and his suicide attempt. Oh my. =(( I was thinking of going there to help with the search because they are accepting volunteers , you dont have to be LE or anything to do the park search. But I just cant bring myself to go, I cant imagine what it would be like to possibly find the bodies =(( I keep praying they find these boys alive and safe, but the police say they cant confirm this "joanne" woman even exists, and it sounds like its just something the father made up and that no woman ever took them at all. THis makes me sick. I have two little boys myself, and with this case being so close to me, it hits all the harder.

Maybe the paternal grandparents? That is a guess, pure speculation....

What concerns me is a divorcing father who loses custody of his sons to an RSO. And an RSO with a conviction for inappropriate sexual behavior with a minor male. Divorce and custody battles are difficult enough... I am not trying to place blame on the mother here for her childrens dissappearance.... I'm extremely concerned over dads state of mind if he believed Mom might harm their kids along with how any of us might feel if we lost primary custody of our children to an RSO. I still have a bit of hope he did not harm the boys and has them in hiding - but I can't explain why he would not go in hiding with them...

this one is tough guys.... very tough and I am praying for those three boys.

Those are both towns in SE MI. I interpreted that he was trying to say that the woman was relatively local (thus she would take the boys to their mother).

I just read on his myspace someone commented I hope you had a good christmas iwth your family and your daughter! So now we know which parent was the bio parent of the daughter who is pregnant.

All i can find on his my space is that he's 39. The person whose daughter can see the facebook page, can probably find out though..
