MI MI - Todd Lilge, 50, parked car, left keys after meeting Michigan State Police, Allegan, 18 Jan 2019

  • #21
I a saw man Saturday evening, around 7pm, who looked a lot like him. I was in Wayland, MI. He kept smiling at me. I left a message with the State police so they could check the camera of the location I was at. Hope they find him safe.
Thank you for reporting this. If you dont mind sharing where abouts in wayland did u think you may have saw him?

Is it possible he was no longer clean and had begun using again? To leave a long term program is not good news. I wonder if he purchased from a cop or what on earth, he went voluntary to a 'meeting' and walked out w the cops?

I think that if he did something as cut and dried as this, he’d just be arrested and that would be it. I think, and again this is JMO, that he got called in for something bigger than drugs.

Hopefully he wasn't a witness to a murder or something illegal that he saw going on.

I wonder, if he's alive, what is he using for money. Did they check homeless shelters? We don't know enough about him to know if he is able to try to live off the grid.

Sounds like someone had a very guilty conscious or is on the run from LE.

  • #31
I agree, he prematurely left the meeting with LE, and agitated at that.
If he went to take his own life, why not confess first? And why wouldn’t they have found the body after so much time?
If he went to flee, wouldn’t you think he’d have to take more time to come up with a plan to do so? Right after the meeting sounds impulsive and dangerous. Maybe he already had a plan in place if he were to become suspected of something?
I sure would love to have been a fly on the wall for that meeting....

I’m interested to know if anyone else from that facility who was chummy with him has left recently. Could a plan have been hatched to hide him out/start a new life/etc with such a person?

  • #33
What’s weird is this is legitimately 10-15 miles from my home and the first I have heard of this missing person. I haven’t seen any posters or anything at the local small town grocery stores or gas stations in Allegan or Van Buren counties. I certainly hope he is alright.

A SAR team with K9's searched for Todd on March 24. Sadly, that is the last news I can find. :( Help Us Find Todd Lilge

If a person is suspected of a crime and called in for preliminary interviews then disappears the case would never be public record? It would only appear in the public court docs if actually charged, right? No matter what the situation, opioids suck and constantly ruin lives. Idk if it will ever stop. Parents also won’t stop remaining in denial.

Believe there's a warrant out for him now. Not drug related, some sort of molestation or CSC.

Good find @PommyMommy!
I wonder if his remains haven’t been found in the woods yet or if he did have a plan of escape... will be watching!

Yep, it fills in a blank or two, but we are still left to ponder his whereabouts, unfortunately. Here's a definition of the charges. It is really long so I'm not going to copy it all here.

Are there any reports on what he was last seen wearing and whether he had any tattoos? I found this flyer on the FB page linked above by PommyMommy. It just says "black jacket and jeans". This UID who was found about 2 1/2 hours away was wearing "Black down jacket, white Nike gym shoes, black socks, blue sweat pants, black T shirt". It also describes a tattoo of a cross on the UID's right upper arm. Any chance this is Todd's body?
