Right on. I too hope HAWG and her daughter are not drawn into this. Believe me this past year has been difficult for me and I feel completely exhausted. The end of this thing can't come soon enough. I hope to be on a beach shortly after the trial is over.

Well they havent tried to reach us so far so I think that we are spared but that dosent mean thay my heart and mind wont be there because James lived in my house and I treated him like a son so I will always be concerned about him. I just want this to go away for him so he can get on with his life. Iam going to try to be there weather permiting. Ash is really doing well Iam very proud of her.

HAWG and others
The thought of this trial and what it will bring has seriously damaged my health and I know that I am not the only one. I pray that this mess is over soon. I pray most of all that Alexis gets a chance to have one of her parents back. If James is released, I hope he will work with the Stanleys to find a good way to reintroduce himself back into his daughter life. I feel confident that he knows it is probably best not to overly rush the process. I want to thank everyone for their support through this horrible tragedy. I hope on Monday when we all wake up we will learn that this has been a very bad dream.

For those interested there is an article in today's Richmond newspaper which says the trial starts tomorrow at 9 a.m. I wonder if the article was written before or after the court activity. I heard that a lot happened.

Bumblebug,

I want to wish you the best with your health, and know how serious your health issues have been (at least what you have shared). My thoughts and prayers are with you. You deserve BIG points in Heaven for all of the hard work you are doing to help this young man. I feel like you are James' angel, and I hope he sees that too !!

You definitly deserve some beach time, and the weather will be perfect in a couple months! You truly deserve kudos from all of us for keeping us informed on James. He too, as well as Alexis and Hawg's family are in my thoughts also. Good luck and the best to all involved. :blowkiss:

Well they called Ash Friday and I guess she is going to have to be in court. She is pretty upset about it because she just dont want be involved in anything like this but it is one of those life things that she has to do and get it over with. Mom cant get her out of this one. I will try to keep in touch to let everyone know what is going on.

Wow Hawg, That is surprising. Especially since they didn't question her at all up until now. Seems odd, but a lot of times, it may be for character, if needed, and she probably won't be called at all. Poor thing is probably very upset, as this is last minute and she has moved on well past James by now. :waitasec:

Please tell her to relax and they probably won't even call her to testify. Good luck and I will keep her in mind also. Tomorrow y'all will have a friend in CA thinking about y'all and praying for the best! Good luck! :blowkiss:

HAWG

I think I know well why she is getting asked to come over to testify. I'll be there too. I remember talking with Ash after Erin's death and her comments reassured me a great deal. I don't think I can say any more here with the trial beginning tomorrow.

I was going to try to attend some of the trial but my mom fell on Tuesday and broke her hip so she is in the hospital and needs me.
But my prayers are with James that this will be over soon and he can be with his daughter Alexis to start a new life and cherish her.

Judge will consider dismissal of murder charges.

Update on the PI site. If the judge does dismiss this will be great news for James!!!!!!!
Keeping my fingers crossed and praying for James!!!!

YEAH!!!! He served enough time- Thanks Pookie!! :woohoo::woohoo:

ETA: This is one of the better published articles in this rag paper. They seemed un-biased and actually were fair in their comments about James. Sounds like a lot of people screwed up and they have LOTS of 'splaining to do. IMO

Me too Hawg I hope he can hold his head high and be proud the justice system did the right thing. And he can plan on getting his life in order for him and Alexis.
I'm also glad you made it home ok the weather here in Richmond is getting kinda bad with all the snow.

Now that it's over I'm gonna miss chatting with everyone here so Good Luck and God Bless to everyone.
I'll still be here but on other topics.

To everyone -- Thanks for the kind words There is one last question we all need to think about. Does anyone out there have any idea why the Centerville police department chose to keep this investigation in house?
To Chicogirl 36 I'm thinking about New Smyrna Beach or perhaps Corpus Christy.
P.S. I have talked with James on the phone and plan on picking him up when he is officially released.
