He's done. It's just a matter of time. IMO
Ok, we don't have to believe the reporter who talked to Risko.
The reporter is obviously in the multi state conspiracy to frame DS.
Ok, who else had access to all those places?
He was quoted, and the reporter then attributed something to him that he did not say.
Venus.
How do you know he did not say it. I'm sure he said more than those few words that were quoted.
JMO
But she was at her parents house. The victim has an alibi.
They should have quoted him then. That would be quite the scoop, that evidence actually linked DS to her disappearance.
I completely agree with this statement. That is why the MSP should have executed search warrants on Venus' parent's home, the place she was living, the very first day of the investigation.
They were the last ones to see her alive and that is the starting point in a criminal investigation. Also, statements made by Venus' father were pure speculation and I think that hurt the case.
He said she was kidnapped taking mail out to the mailbox in her pajamas, but he was sleeping so he didn't witness her do that. He was sleeping so he didn't witness her being kidnapped. He was sleeping so he didn't witness her in pajamas that morning.
But the media ran with his version of events, and the MSP was caught in a media feeding frenzy which may have misdirected them.
But I agree with you Saint, search warrants should have been executed a lot sooner than now, and all the family members should allow it without question since it is their daughter/daughter in law that is missing.
You asked who had access to all those places. Venus. Maybe even others in her family. Others in his family. Friends? Although they don't strike me as a bunch who'd gather together on holidays and such.
So, the evidence being found in DS's parents home does not link him?
The evidence being found in DS's apartment does not link him?
The evidence being found in DS's car and truck does not link him?
He is the only person that had access to those places IMO.
Nobody else had access to ALL those places. Not even VS.
Do you think she had a key to his parents house?
Do you think she still had a key to his apartment?
I don't think she had access to all his personal space. She had been gone for months.
She had coffee with her mother that morning.
Let's not forget, he had already made threats that he should kill her with a gun.
I have no reason to believe that VS parents wouldn't let the police search their house without even needing search warrants - they were desperate to find their daughter - apparently UNLIKE DS is acting. If it were my daughter I would say 'YES, I called you here, I want your help, and you can go thru anything you like to find my daughter!!!'
I do agree that LE should have searched DS parents residence and property long before this, but again, I'm not so sure they haven't already searched it, and just wanted to do it again. I'm sure there are PLENTY of things that have been done that 'we' don't know about.![]()
The police stated that as if it were heard from a third party, not something they heard for themselves. jmo
I don't think the McCombs framed Doug. I think they were convinced from the onset that Doug was responsible for the disappearance and told the world about it based upon their own understanding of Venus' and Doug's relationship.
Doug was already under investigation for molesting his children per Venus' complaint, right? If you were in his position, would you go to her dad's house in broad daylight and kidnap her with the father inside the house? If the father saw him within 100 miles of the property he would have dialed 911, right? Sure he would have.
I guess the only point that I am making is that Doug isn't going anywhere and the police can arrest him at any time. But what if he didn't do it? That means there is a dangerous kidnapper/killer out there, and all attention is on Doug because the media said he is guilty without 100% evidence.
I'm a little shocked that despite death threats, the timing of the temp custody of the girls, and evidence pointing to DS, so many are so reluctant to even consider he did this.
I've said all along he killed her, or he paid someone to kill her.
If I am right, either way, he's guilty of murder. If he paid someone to do it, he is responsible for her death.
Why he is defended more than the victim is I don't know. I'm a little shocked by it.
IMO/JMO/MOO and all that jazz.
